Not really. It was actually rippin' off other SH games a lot.
They only took the otherworld transition from SH movie.

Yeah, I forgot that PH looked like the movie one...
He was there because Alex is pretty much just overpowered James. MORE SH2 RIPOFF!
Plus in SH0 there's a paintin' of him in Gillespie house:

The only games in the series I've never beaten are Homecoming (too hard), Downpour (no Yamaoka) and Book of Memories (Uhh). I think Shattered Memories was definitely the best non-Team Silent game.

Even though I've only played a few of the series, having Pyramid Head return made no sense when he's special to only James.

Are you using an emulator or playing the PC version(s)?

My advice on SH3 is to bump the difficulty to Hard, since Normal is waaaaay too easy, especially for a RE vet.
