It's not even that you would have to worry about. They're not gonna produce another Venom figure if no one is buying the first version. They'll see that interest is low for Venom so why would they make another one.

Because if the 2nd version has the spider symbol on his chest, it'll most likely sell better than the 1st version, as fans prefer Venom with the spider symbol, like fans of Thanos who didn't buy the hot toys Infinity War version, because they preferred the armored version........

I'm sure Sony wants to give Venom a spider symbol. The challenge is coming up with a story rationale that feels organic and not forced. I'll pick up Venom and Carnage as long as they look good. Hopefully a few other surprise symbiotes show up.

I watched the first movie and the whole thing felt forced. All he needs to do is pick up a paper, see a Spiderman symbol and then imitate it. I hate Sony, they just waste quality characters.

Again, that is just the current "rumor mill" churning out information
from Hong Kong. Even if they are released in the next week or two, Sideshow won't be
shipping until December, at the current rate they are getting stuff.

Justin mentioned this last night that he heard it would release this month. Makes sense getting it out before the new Venom movie, which could open the door for Venom 2.0 and a likely Carnage.

Hot Toys will most likely make Carnage, but unless Venom gets the spider symbol on his chest in Venom Let There Be Carnage, it's unlikely they'll make a 2nd version, as he appears to be identical to how he looked in the 1st movie from what the trailer has shown........

Final product images are in and damn this figure is absolutely stunning. I hope they don’t do the white spider actually cause I really want this. If they do the white spider I’ll have to wait longer

Venom 2 figures are a most. Spider-Man sells. Venom sells just as much . Spider-Man sells more than iron man I’d argue. If we don’t get anything from venom 2 I’ll be shocked
