Not sure how many are familiar with JTVFX but they’ve been working on expanding the scenes in The Best of Both Worlds, it’s a quality fan made production for sure.

This is interesting. As loved as TBOBW is, my biggest gripe was that it was only 2 episodes. When you think about how they handled it later and dug up Picard’s flashbacks, I just can’t help but think that the season overall should have spent a good half of the run dealing with this. Sure, Patrick Stewart might not have been so central but I just feel it wrapped up too quickly.

And then there's that mauve disaster Chekov is wearing. :ROFLMAO:
It’s funny how that costume subtly changes between stealing the Enterprise and reaching Genesis.

Then he’s the only one apart from Spock to get a full costume change for the next one 🤣

I like the way this came out....

Slightly off topic but this looks promising. I enjoyed playing Star Trek Armada 1 & 2 back in the day, I wonder if it will be similar.

I don't believe that was the artist way of thinking back then.
Besides, I like this one better. 🙂:

Well, I can all but guarantee that because the rainbow had not been co-opted for that representation back in the 70s. At least as far as my understanding is on that topic.

And I agree that this poster is better than the rainbow colored one. Very dynamic representation of the Enterprise.

On Joost's live stream of the 66 Batman preorder, he said he will not be doing a Trek line. He said that Exo 6 has that covered. I wonder if that means we will be seeing bridge pieces from Exo6 beyond the Captain's Chair.

Fantastic artwork.

I recognize the piece by Joshua Budich on the far right there. He does great work, I need to pick up that TOS one and the TNG version below when I’m done redoing my home office.

The rainbow Pride flag dates back to 1978, so it preceded The Motion Picture. While I doubt its use in the movie poster is deliberate, it certainly reflects Roddenberry's IDIC philosophy and therefore suits the franchise.

Seriously? Wow. Never knew that. Still, rainbows hadn't been co-opted culturally yet by then. Anyway, who cares? Back to EXO-6 Trek, I'm reading some comments casting doubts on EXO-6 getting to TOS, not sure why but I still believe it will happen.
