I'm sure the black rubber was weird too in 1989, but we got used to it...or we were more open minded back then. I'd be fine with long ears, blue and grey with the yellow emblem, if they do a prequel. I'll even take purple gloves batman if they want to do a homage to the first suit.

In retrospect, that photo is almost prophetic. Snyder and Affleck were telling us in their own way, but we didn't see it...we didn't want to see the truth. Instead we focused on the awesome suit, not the message. We can't make that mistake again.
