Meh. I mean it's just a grayed beard and the way the hair is parted that may make it resemble each other.

thank goodness this fig is not a SSC EX or a timed PO window for holograms. :lol

free to purchase anywhere.

Anyone from Europe buying this from Sideshow needs their head read.

With the current exchange rate it's €22 more in Euro than USD !! €322 !! Ridiculous.

I didn't even notice that we have dipped to negative against USD. Paypal/bank will use even worse conversion rate so it will be even more.
With 40-50$ shipping and 20-25% customs duties this is absolutely no go!

They tend to bump up figures to certain price ranges and stay there for a while. The writing was on the wall for $300 figures with head sculpts for a while.

I’m glad they at least made an effort with the stand to help make it at least a little more palatable instead of recycling one. Minimal effort that should be a matter of course but, y’know.

It's not a horrible sculpt but the texture on the face is more rugged than it should be.

It does make him look older than he should. I think being softened a bit in production will help with that.

Is there any OT/PT characters worth paying $300 for anymore? People have been asking for Bespin Han for years. Bespin Han is even more bare bones than this Cobb Vanth. Will Bespin Han be worth $300 . For me the answer is no.

There are going to be a lot of people who will pay that for Bespin Han, but I feel like there will also be a lot of people who buy it as their hobby retirement figure. TCW armored Obi-Wan to go with Anakin would also fall in the same category.

Although by the time Bespin Han rolls around some day, it’ll probably be more than $300. Not that I think the price rapidly increase; Bespin Han just won’t show up till after the corporate wars of the 2030’s.

But the mid $200 figures have long already been close to or more than $300 after shipping and tax, and far beyond that for international collectors. I think we’ve been seeing a slowdown for a while, hence the frequent sales and promotions.

If you get a coupon or Thank You code, check a pre-order item’s eligibility right away. I’ve had a couple instances where new pre-order items were eligible for it on Day 1 but the next day it was no longer the case. I don’t know if it was intentional on Sideshow’s part or a quirk of their system, but that’s why I didn’t hesitate to order this time.

Are those even eligible for those discounts yet? I have 3 separate 10% off codes for HT items but I don’t recall seeing them. Also, 10% off those is > $25, so I think you meant preferably the former lol.
I did mean the former...because the 10% off would be $56 off the Mando/Blurgg and the Kuill/Blurgg so yes, I meant former. My mistake. Don't laugh, you'll make me feel bad. I made an early morning typo. Sheesh. But No, they're not eligible yet for the 10%. But that's why I cancelled them because the coupons I have don't expire until January, and they'll likely be in stock by then. However, the "thank you" coupons work for both the Mando/Blurgg and the Kuill/Blurgg. At least they have for everyone I've gotten.

Ah man, I was 35 minutes too late to do this myself.

HT could be missing a trick by not disclosing whether the armour comes off easily or what the red shirt looks like as I’m sure there are some maniacs who would by two Vanths to display both looks- maybe even three if there’s a way of getting his speeder…

Whatever the case, I’m glad I’ll be paying in HKD and definitely not using PayPal’s conversion rate. Always deselect that option!

Paypal usually likes to add a tenner onto the cost of figures. Scummy.

It's cool. It just isn't $350 shipped cool without discounts.
Collectorzown. The price you see on their site includes everything (shipping and tax), but they almost always offer a discount.

For instance this figure you can get 17% off the listed price. Works out to be $293.

The only downside is that you pay up front, but I don’t really mind because it’s cheaper. I’ve gotten quite a few figures there and it works out considerably cheaper.

I have no interest in Disney+ figure however if $300 is the new benchmark for regular figures it will be very hard to justify purchasing HT figures in the future. Is there any OT/PT characters worth paying $300 for anymore? People have been asking for Bespin Han for years. Bespin Han is even more bare bones than this Cobb Vanth. Will Bespin Han be worth $300 . For me the answer is no. I really need to think hard to see if there is any SW OT/PT character worth $300 so far I can think of none. It’ too bad as I don’t mind picking up a figure every now and then.
It works well that you don't want to pay $300 for Bespin Han because it seems HT is never going to make him. I hear you on the pricing for a basic figure though...it's getting challenging. Fortunately, I'm strictly Star Wars now and can swing the few figures that they release. There's a bit of a bubble of Mando figures but after that it's going to less than half a dozen a year released most likely.
