Even though I agree with all the height complaints I think it looks cool overall and I want to buy it, but I've never paid that much for a figure so I might wait until I have a lot more coupons or something lol. Paying $500+ is not a habit I want to start, so this might be the first and last time I do it.

Has there been NRD for Sony characters? I always remember all the Spidey figures from FFH not having NRD.

$445 for the regular and $510 with the Venom sculpt. No tailoring, all just boring molding. Huge pass. King Shark looking really good right now.

I'm guessing their mindset was to have:

Venom - Buff but short
Carnage - Slender but tall

Since they can't even get an R rating for the movie to show Carnage's bloodlust, they probably wanted there to be a bigger difference between the two just on their appearance alone.

...and you brought it up: Carnage is not a PG13 guy, he is R-rated and thats just how it is. I want to weep considering the movie greatness we could have from this guy: his FUBAR childhood or lack of one, all the horrible things that happened to him. His relationship with Shriek, which is like Harley and Joker but with actual killing and just... -all- the things that make him not only to be feared, but to be pitied. That would be something to see, and I know we're not getting any of that.

With that said, I really also want that Brock bust but no way am I paying $500+ for this. That's just crazy.

I like tall skinny Carnage, he looks intimidating. I think a lot of people are too dead set on 100% comic accuracy when half of the MCU isn’t even comic accurate.

Nah I just don’t mess around when it comes to Spider-Man characters. They can do all they want to some of zlisters in the mcu but when it comes to X-men and Spider-Man I do t like them taking lots of liberties.
Carnage doesn’t bother me to much but I still think it’s silly that they made him 10 feet tall to show he’s strong. Carnage is little but insane.

of course I expect the idiots at Sony to make idiotic decisions so this was expected. Beyond that he looks good

Yup venom and carnage are both tragic characters and the symbiote is killing them both and feeding off there pain . So all this funny crazy humor is silly but I get it. Audiences don’t want to think anymore when it comes to these characters .

Venom has always been goofy and funny for as long as I've known, I dunno why people think he isn't, it's not a new thing with the movies.

If I was a Carnage fan I would be all over this.

Imagine seeing this standing between your MCU figures, towering over them all. Incredible and impressive piece.
How pathetic would he look next to Venom if they kept him skinny. 9/10, and that bust is a great addition.

I change my sig all the time. He's just so tall which makes him much more expensive. Not fitting that guy in a detolf!

I don’t see how he can’t fit in a detolf unless you want to pose standing straight up…which probably isn’t the most flattering pose for this figure.

A detolf shelf is what, 15 inches? Carnage standing up is about 17 inches, with some posing you'd probably get him to fit.

16.9" tall and 1 detolf shelf 15.5" tall. Take out a shelf or not put him on a detolf for the full glory tendrils. I think him next to any figure puts them to shame.
