NECA has once again managed to bring me incredible joy. I'm a bit disappointed as I've gotten the impression that most people are skipping out on Harley, yet after posing her and getting her on the shelf, I gotta say she's one of NECA's best 1/4 figures.
I only have 3 nitpicks. For one, it would have been nice to have a little bit of paint on the guns. Two, the hand swapping can be a bit difficult and I find the bat holding hand to be slightly loose. That being said, it's quite forgivable as the range of articulation in the wrists is fantastic. My third and probably biggest nitpick is the lack of double jointed elbows. I get that they probably wanted to preserve the sculpt, but with only single joints she can't get the bat sitting on her shoulder.
However besides those little points, everything else is amazing. The good far out weights the bad. Sculpting is amazing, and paint is really well done. I scanned the whole thing and there's no bad paint anywhere. Very clean. Besides the lack of double jointed elbows, she has an excellent range of articulation. Lots of poses are possible. I especially love the moveable ponytails.
If you get her, I definitely recommend heating the joints right away. I do it for almost every NECA figure I get, but with Harley those skinny arms could especially be prone to breakage, so you must heat the joints.
I mean all in all, it's another home run. She's my 14 1/4 figure and she's already one of my favourites. Up there with Arkham Knight Batman and Batman Begins Batman for sure. If you have been thinking about getting her, don't pass it up.
Bring on Arkham Joker. [emoji48]
