Have to say you can flag me up as one of those articulation junkies, I like the way joints are being better and better engineered to hide them these days, but for me visible articulation is always preferable to no articulation.

I have very little interest in statues, a poseable figure is always my preference.

visible articulations is less of a problem if the headsculpt looks toyish/cartoonish. but if you're going for a realistic look, then that level of realism has to be maintained throughout the entire piece, otherwise it shatters that illusion and the poas become obtrusive distraction.

Yeah, they say, "I am a doll. I don't look remotely as lifelike as my prototype pics." Scroll up to the original pics and then tell me this figure still looks good. What a let down. The eyes and eyebrows suck now (by Hot Toys own standards). Hope they do a reissue on this head like they did for John Connor.

How long til somebody undresser her so we can see the new Hot Angels physique? This is the body Elizabeth Swann should have had. Too bad I already sold her.

I think this GOEMON line don't sell well so HT don't bother to put their best into these fig. It's a shame if it true.

Huh... are we looking at the same figure?

The nose in the poster looks "normal" sized while the actual figure's nose seems deformed to me PLUS I think the colors on the outfit look kinda weak and pale AND now the plastik hair kinda sticks out like a pimple on Natalie Portman's face.

But that's just me, maybe I'll do a headmod to the figure if I find her ar a good price.


edit: Then again in some shots she reminds me of Bai Ling, deformed head and ugly chck and on the same time angelic beauty - weird.
