Standard Version:

Iron Man Mark VI armor was Tony Stark’s sixth Iron Man suit and was built to replace the Mark IV after Stark created an improved Arc Reactor with a higher energy output using a new element. It was notably used by Stark to defeat Whiplash, capture Loki and repair the Helicarrier.

Crafted with realistic details to truly capture Tony Stark’s iconic designs, Hot Toys is excited to present Iron Man Mark VI (2.0) in diecast 1/6th scale collectible figure based on Marvel Studios’ The Avengers.

The over 32cm tall diecast figure has a wide range of features including a newly developed head sculpt of Robert Downey Jr featuring likeness of Tony Stark, LED light-up helmet with interchangeable masks, movie-accurate proportion and detailed armor design, metallic red, gold and silver colored armor, interchangeable battle damaged chest armor and remove parts on shoulder and thigh, hidden compartments on shoulders to reveal weapons, and a figure display stand.

Don’t miss the chance to add this Tony Stark’s armor to your Iron Man collection!

Sculpt looks great! Finally Tony with moving eyes!

RDJ has such an expressive face and this reminds me of the 'where's my sandwich' scene from Iron Man 3.

Not really seeing RDJ in that headsculpt. They were obviously going for the smirk when he says “I’m not in…I’m actually out” but there’s something missing. And just like the Mk3 2.0, no inclusion of helmeted headsculpt with flip up mask this time which is a shame.

I wonder if they actually got the whole triangular space in the arc reactor to light up white this time or if that’s just photoshopped to look like it? Doesn’t appear to be the case from the gantry pics, which would be another missed opportunity.

And they’re still doing the IM2 battle damage faceplate and chest piece instead of Avengers battle damage.

The gantry is nice and very impressive though, I will say that. For those that have the space for such a thing, it will make quite the show stopping display. More so than the MK4 with gantry I’d say.

Honestly, at this point I'm starting to think they'll never get around to those MoM Stranges... Every week is more disappointing than the last. Re-issues, Blue Monkeycats, now another Iron Man... They better give me a Klawng next month!

Really? I think it’s the best likeness to RDJ yet.
Reminds me more of those maxnut headsculpts where the features are just slightly too exaggerated and a bit caricature-like.

For me, the best HT RDJ sculpts are between the new Mk3/Mech Test and the suit-up MK5 sculpts.

In some shots there's something off that I can't put my finger on but it's mostly there. My general feeling is positive, that's RDJ.

As Gipetto said, pity they're still going with IM2 battle-damage when it's an Avengers release.

Overall though that's an incredible set. Sigh....I might try and swing it when the time comes. To have both his suits from The Avengers 2012 and a major centerpiece display with that gantry. I worry about customs getting wise to low-value declarations for large and heavy boxes such that this will have though. Also my space problem.

With this figure coming I wonder is there still hope for a 2012 Thor 2.0......that's something I definitely need. I still don't have a Thor.

I never bought one of the modern suits, I love that First Avenger suit.

Side note: the PS3 tie in game is awesome. All the cast are in it!
yup the tie-in game was super fun and one the best (and one of the last I think) superhero movie tie-in games ever made.

TFA suit is also my favorite Cap suit and have been wishing for a 2.0 for the longest. Hopefully we finally get one

That always ends up being the case for me when these companies make expressive sculpt, it’s why I always prefer more neutral expressions. Just looks odd capturing very specific expressions in a static model.

I’m with @Gipetto0812 on this. Some angles are okay, but some others are questionable at best.

Agree that it’s a bit over-exaggerated on top of that. It’s more restaurant wall caricature than portrait for me.

The skin texturing also makes him look 10 years older than he does in the film. Feels like they’re overcompensating for InArt’s head sculpts.

I’ve been doing an MCU rewatch currently, and Hot Toys is completely feeding into my urges to collect the Phase 1 versions of these characters. This and the Mark III look absolutely stunning. Love the idea of the expressive sculpt personally, although they have some work to do on it still. I do think it captures the way RDJ played him, especially in this movie before his experience with the wormhole and aliens. I definitely will pass on the gantry for space reasons, but this is going to be one I consider for sure.

Hard agree. This is probably the biggest need in my collection to put with the other versions of Thor I’ll have. Those first costumes for him were impeccable imo.
