Re: Batgirl - Written, Directed and Produced by Joss Whedon

So there's The Batman, Nightwing , Gotham Sirens, Suicide Squad 2 and Batgirl?

G-zeus, the DCEU is 90% Batman. :lol

Re: Batgirl - Written, Directed and Produced by Joss Whedon

There were rumors when Malone got cast that she would be Babs Gordon. But no, she's just Jane Exposition.

Psyched for this news!!!

Hoping they don't pick Emma Stone for Batgirl.

Personally, as far as redheads, I have a thing for Bella Thorne... but that's something else.

Keaton plays Batman

Stone plays Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man

Keaton and Stone are father and daughter in Birdman that mocks the superhero/comic book genre

Keaton plays the Vulture in Spider-Man

Stone plays Batgirl

Annnywaaaaaayyyyyy. . .

Good call by WB/DC to inject some fun and humor into their films. I like Whedon, and always have since the Firefly days. Yeah, he can be a bit much in large doses, and his stuff isn't meant to be rewatched 500 times as geek fans like to do. But it is fun, and good by and large despite what I feel was a big miss with Avengers 2 (which probably was due to studio involvement as much as anything). I'll definitely take this every time over another goddamn Snyder comic movie, or producer-initiated disaster like Suicide Squad. Funny that WB hires him on to do Wonder Woman, gets rid of him, he hits it as big as you can with comic movies, then they come crawling back to get him to do what their initial instincts rightly told them was a good idea.
