Dr Doom and MODOK have me excited.

MODOK was always ridiculous looking even when I was a kid but somehow cool.

Dr Doom's awesome... so I hope they don't ruin him like other movie iterations.

I also loved Kingpin as a kid and, to date, I haven't seen a good version of him yet.
You did't like D'onofrio in Daredevil? I get not liking that he was OP in Hawkeye and can take an arrow to the chest for some reason.

I for one am really curious about BP2, even if just to learn who the Hell is the actual MC and to see Manletmor. The Doom rumors make sense, but I expect just a small Thanos-esque stinger, nothing much.

I honestly didn't mind America. It's just that I'd have preferred a proper Strange sequel over a set up flick, but what can you do?
I mean I like it, but for some reason wasn't deep enough for me. But reading a lot of comments online, either people really love it or people think it is middle of the MCU pack.
Rumor has it Gamora leaves with Warlock to establish the Infinity Watch, and Peter stays behind with Nebula to set up another GotG group. I can buy it. The movies will end but they'll be able to appear again down the line in Nova and everything else that goes down with Cosmic Marvel.
I can see that. Feige doesn't mind if any big names want to stay around, he and his team will find a place for them.
Eh, as long as there's a dolly I want based on a character I like, I'll give any MCU bit a chance, even if only watching a rip. I'm looking forward more to BP2 than Thor 4, and I want to witness the disaster that will be Clown Kang in AM3. Maybe Stoll as MODOK will salvage it. But apart from FF, it's GotG that I'm looking forward to the most. I'm not even registering anything that has to do with Brie Larson. Unless they finally give us a Ronan, I don't care. Aaaaand now I'm reminded of how they wasted Jude Law and I'm mad again...
I like to know what goes on. Glad I was able to rip and skip most of Widow, Shang and Eternals. I need trailers for BP2 and AM3. Thor4 did nothing for me.

I never watched DD. But from the little I've seen, he's not the Kingpin I remember or want to see.
You could probably watch some YT video that compiles his scenes together. I like the one where he smashes a dude's head with a car door. :D

This is the only Kingpin you need

Why do all returns devolve to... mech spider legs?

Are spider legs really the ultimate in evolution? I would think octopus arms/legs are.
Spider Legs are just that cool.

MODOK will be some giant gimmick laugh that will last for 5 or 10 seconds and will look like this:

N-No, he'll be cool and they're going to make a great dolly...

I'll be honest, I've watched cams/sped up/skipped through most MCU products Post-Infinity Endgame. I just don't care for the characters or the direction that much. The last thing I really enjoyed was Loki, and then the Clown ruined it... Honestly, Raimi's style saves MOM for me. Regardless of the plot holes, let down and the fact that it's a set-up flick, there's some genuine enjoyment to be found in there that's missing from other assembly-line MCU products.

MOM is easily rewatchable for me. Short and eventful. Maybe I am just putting too much into wanting it to be spectacular. But NWH I felt was great and emotional, while some didn't like it as much. Raimi is gimmicky, but there was plenty of cool stuff in there. It was a 2h8m movie, it could have been filled out some more. Raimi mentioned there probably will be 2-3 deleted scenes.

Did you like the Sinister Strange battle? It was interesting, yet not fulfilling. Cheeky might be the word for it. I do want all the Strange dollies. With YT, there is plenty of people showing ripped scenes on there and just rewatched the Sinister battle.

Honestly, I found NWH just average and quickly forgot about it. Nostalgia didn't do anything for me either. But that might be because I no longer care for Spider-Man. And I'm heading the same way with Batman. Too oversaturated yet always delivering the same.

Yeah, I liked the gimmick of that fight. As for the dolls, I'll be sticking with just Defender and Supreme if they make him (plus Wanda). I still have to get Tobey, the QS Paul and if they do them, Manletmor and Panther Who from BP2. I'll skip main Strange and wait for his 3rd flick, where hopefully he'll become a proper Sorcerer Supreme and maybe sport something like this:

With the Cloak getting damaged, I'm sure they're setting it up for him getting a more comic accurate look in DS3. Even Star-Lord got his DnA outfit, so I'm just going to wait until the near end.

Thought you were going to pass on them? They saying M'Baku will be Black Panther? Thought it was the genius chick.

I think DS3 will have an awesome Doctor Strange. His partner, not sure when we can say spoilers on here, might be made too now. I hope they bring the villains and turn up the strange. Get him out of New York and go multiversing like DS2 should have been. I like Wong, but I need lots of Strange and Clea doing some investigating, traveling and banishing.

Even in god awful films spider legs are cool

Reminder that Smith passed on the Matrix to do that...

I can't really pass on them. Since they're really killing off T'Challa in-universe, this might be my last chance to get one if he appears in some flashback. It'll depend on if there's literally just a guy in a cat costume. That's all I need for my Illuminati display. Same goes for Namor. I'm disappointed with the casting, but I need one. Had he been accurately cast I could excuse more costumes, but as it stands if his look in BP2 is good enough, if it's a closed costume and I can at least swap some heads if I really dislike him, I'll get the doll. They've both been in my lists forever, I can't skip them. I'll just tone down their appearances on my shelves with how things turned out.

I really hope they don't have Shuri become the next BP. The MCU butchered her completely. To be fair, they butchered T'Challa too. Let's be honest, the MCU butchers half, does some things okay and only pulls off very few bits.

I've already posted my predictions for DS3. At the very least I'd like a proper comic-styled Strange, a Clea and if things turn out well a Mads Dormammu and an Umar played by someone like Eva Green. The actual flick might take a wholly different direction though, so who knows? I expect we'll get news about DS3 during D23, same way we got new about DS2 in the previous one.

It's not like Cumberbatch is leaving any time soon.

My GF and I took 12 student members of the Comic Book Club I sponsor at my high school, where I teach, to see MoM yesterday and everyone had various levels of love/horror for the movie. I had to laugh when some of the club members said which parts of the movie scared them. :lol

I'm not going to review and analyze the movie as some of you have already done; I'm just going to say that I loved it, I thought it was a very entertaining movie. Even my GF loved it and all she really likes is romance/drama movies but I'm slowly bringing her the Dark Side. :yess:

I was surprised to see a full audience considering that it was on three screens and a matinee at the theater we went to.
