She hit The Wall.

She was already on the verge in her Dark Phoenix movie....when she came back for her cameo in Days of Future Past, it was evident that she was done for.

The Wall remains undefeated.

Don't google Tia Carrere.....she turned into Roseanne a few years ago.

Apparently it's doing good in ticket sales thus far. I've said it before, but it's another IM2/AoU type of thing. Raimi's direction and the strong performances save it a bit though. Psycho Wanda was great and Cumberbatch just seems to be having a blast with the role. I think people will look back on it fondly as a zany little adventure that was disappointing at the time, but had some cool bits and was an enjoyable watch.
Style over substance IMO. Unfortunately, Wanda took over too much of the movie. Nightmare would have been a better villain and linked the Stranges better. Chavez had to save the day in Strange's own movie. Maybe I just expected too much while not totally liking Wanda.

I wanted to say this was better than all MCU movies and the trailers really had that possibility, but Strange got upstaged in his own movie. I can see why Derrickson dropped out, who might have delivered a more complete story while serving Doctor Strange as the hero of his own movie.

This kind of had that Civil War feel with Cap and IM where it might have been better to just see Cap take on The Serpent Society. Guess different for different sakes.

Even with Wong, how can you possibly believe he is a good Sorcerer Supreme after that movie?

So now Thor is all that's left? Blah...
Don't forget Who-Even-Is-The-Panther-This-Time-Around Vs. Manletmor: Dawn Of The Rise Of The Country Of Coates' Lesbian OCs and Pudgy-Hulk. There's the GotG Holiday Special at least.

Yeah, I surely would have preferred a proper Strange sequel myself, and it would most certainly have turned out more cohesive. But like I said, I see this as the IM2/AoU of this Phase, so I'm just trying to see the good bits in it.

As for Wong, the entire flick had a nonsensical flick with plot holes, so I'm not holding it against him. Strange needs to get his title back already though. The movies aren't called Wong or Doctor Voodoo or Clea or whatever else.

GOTG is next year though. Only thing I'm looking forward to... but I bet they beat that to hell to and cram it full of unnecessary characters and teases for spin-offs.

Each MCU movie is nothing more than ROTJ all over again -- a bloated commercial for other products.

I shouldn't be expecting Russo level story telling. I knew what Raimi was and should have known better. Man, those first two trailers were so epic.

Spoiler Spoiler:

Good point that this is the AoU of this Phase and most likely into the next one. Think of all the second movies in the MCU trilogies - I think only Cap has had a better sequel than the original. At least America wasn't worthless like the kid in IM3.

Probably half of them die. Seemed like Gunn is already saying Rocket is going to die. Bautista is running his mouth like Idris Elba was and I expect him to be killed off. The rest, who knows. I do expect this to be the best out of Thor4, BP2, AM3 and The Marvels.

My time is up with NWH, The Batman, Moon Knight and DS2. Now to hiberate until Blade and F4....

But isn't all of these?

Last night I finally got around to watching NWH to prepare for MOM which I watched today. Bottom line: I liked MOM way better than NWH. NWH I actually didn‘t care for. It just felt like a shallow nostalgia grab. I enjoyed the earlier Spider-Man movies back when but not so much that it made me care what happened here. If others loved NWH (and clearly many did based on box office) I respect that completely btw. Why movies do or don’t strike a chord with each of us individually is all ultimately a matter of personal taste anyway.

Anyway, I was worried after NWH that I might actually lose interest in the MCU (which would be a huge disappointment given that I’ve got a major investment in watching it all these years, and have mostly enjoyed it a lot), but MOM kind of got me back on board.

I loved it. I thought Raimi did an amazing job and you could really feel his hand throughout the film. Incredibly well balanced between all of the characters considering how many there were and any ridiculous plot machinations or typical Disney/Marvel bs were buried beneath a really terrific popcorn flick. I love taking my kids to see these films is so important as it reminds me why these films are made in the first place.

I for one am really curious about BP2, even if just to learn who the Hell is the actual MC and to see Manletmor. The Doom rumors make sense, but I expect just a small Thanos-esque stinger, nothing much.

I honestly didn't mind America. It's just that I'd have preferred a proper Strange sequel over a set up flick, but what can you do?

Rumor has it Gamora leaves with Warlock to establish the Infinity Watch, and Peter stays behind with Nebula to set up another GotG group. I can buy it. The movies will end but they'll be able to appear again down the line in Nova and everything else that goes down with Cosmic Marvel.

My time is up with NWH, The Batman, Moon Knight and DS2. Now to hiberate until Blade and F4....
Eh, as long as there's a dolly I want based on a character I like, I'll give any MCU bit a chance, even if only watching a rip. I'm looking forward more to BP2 than Thor 4, and I want to witness the disaster that will be Clown Kang in AM3. Maybe Stoll as MODOK will salvage it. But apart from FF, it's GotG that I'm looking forward to the most. I'm not even registering anything that has to do with Brie Larson. Unless they finally give us a Ronan, I don't care. Aaaaand now I'm reminded of how they wasted Jude Law and I'm mad again...

Dr Doom and MODOK have me excited.

MODOK was always ridiculous looking even when I was a kid but somehow cool.

Dr Doom's awesome... so I hope they don't ruin him like other movie iterations.

I also loved Kingpin as a kid and, to date, I haven't seen a good version of him yet.

Spoiler Spoiler:
“Son, let me explain it this way. Her character represents the hope of HT Capt Marvel owners everywhere that some how any 1/6 likeness of her can be customized and utilized to enhance said existing Capt Marvel figures.
So to sum up, she’s a big f’n deal. Milkshakes are on me kiddo”

So far two of my absolute favourites are ruined/on a tightrope, so I'm anxious, but I always try to remain hopeful. I honestly don't know how they'll even get MODOK to work. A giant head would be too grotesque in live action. The Avengers game kinda tried to find a common ground but it ended up just looking ridiculous.

If you're going to give him the giant head, you need the hoverchair otherwise it looks "naked". AM is a rather goofy film-series though, so who knows, maybe we'll get the comic based look. Or they'll try something far out:

I still have some faint hope that they'll bring in more actors to play Variant Kangs. I can't accept that guy as the only Kang I'll ever get... Doom I'm rather optimistic about. They'll try to get some big Euro name. I don't think they're dumb enough to get Gus Fring or whatever. And seeing as they cross the 616 and 1610 stories so often, Devil Dracula Doom would be great.

Whoah, that’s uncanny how accurate you were.

Wow that game sucked. I think it might have been last year it released? What a **** game with a terrible premise. Should have been a story driven game like Spider-Man and Batman not some crap destiny clone.

MODOK will be some giant gimmick laugh that will last for 5 or 10 seconds and will look like this:
