So you admit that BVS and Snyder sucks. Good.
Can't say Superman "I need to convince Bruce to help, oh wait hes annoying I will kill him", Lex stuff was appealing. Batfleck stuff was good. Snyder clearly a Batman fan, but DC needed a Superman fan. I will still defend ZSJL and 99% of MOS (damn neck snap).

I hear you. The First Avenger is one of my favorite films while most consider it to be mediocre at best.

[...]

I actually really like TFA, it's my favorite of the CA films. Plus it has one of the best-fitting superhero theme for any superhero film, in my opinion.

If you look at total box office for all MCU movies, it certainly doesn't go by best to worst in quality. Fast and Furious and Transformers prove that point. People just want the spectacle.

Best thing is Arishem. The scale is awesome. I hope we get a lot of Galactus like that, but of course Galactus is like 1/12 scale of Arishem.

Worst is the unneeded dude smooch. Clearly in your face. To be fair, the Sersi/Ikaris "sex scene" was totally unnecessary too. They get married, we get it. Why didn't we get Rogers plowing tig bits to Johnny B. Goode? Total sensationalism to get people talking to market the movie.

I am very late, but this made me spit out my coffee haha

I'm doing my part. :)

Plus you haven't seen it, so your opinion doesn't count! :lol

Writer for this said the path is set for Eternals 2 to be a rescue mission. Got Pip Thena Druig Makkari on a ship w Eros knowing where Phastos Kingo Sersi are at w Arishem.

I figured all the celestials would be dead at this point like how Knowhere was shown as a celestial head. The celestials kind of remind me of that final scene of Men in Black where some monsters play w universes as marbles. Like too far removed from where we were enjoying things.
I read that first part several times and it made me want to see Eternals 1 even less. Just feels very Greek Mythology Avengers to me.

And I will still blame Zack for twice ******* up what should have been great cinematic experiences by failing to deliver coherent stories ( BvS and JL) in under 3 hours. Releasing the bloated ZSJL 5 years after-the-fact hasn't earned him absolution from me. And this is from someone who also enjoyed 99% of MoS. It turns out that last 1% was the real ZS emerging from Nolan's shadow lol...

I always think about if someone had told me 15 years ago that DC and Marvel would both drive stories that would converge in a superhero team-up all-star cast and that Marvel's would blow DCs away, I would've laughed my butt off. Justice League was by far the better known brand, even if a lot of that was from a hokey Saturday morning cartoon. I did enjoy the Snyder cut but they could've had so much more build-up to an ultimate showdown with a great villain and we get the band that gave us "Born to be Wild" :)

It’s sad isn’t it? They gave the keys to someone who had no idea what the hell they were doing and were so stupid that they are now behind marvel. Like seriously the decision making is amazing tbh. The dumbest studio ever . Snyder just couldn’t handle a universe, he’s not a good writer and they saw that to late and messed up everything. I honestly don’t blsne Snyder but his fans are absolutely annoying thinking he is the end all be all of dc movies and he made a deep movie. I blame WB for crapping on the characters and treating them like trash. They could care less about Wonder Woman until marvel proved you can make hits with c list characters.
