After looking at the base some more, I think the deluxe base pieces are just parts that you put on top of the standard base. This is similar to how they did the bases for the Iron Man QS figures.

I'll most likely go with the deluxe in this case since I can either use the standard base or deluxe base depending on my mood.

These don't seem very optional to me.

In any case about the deluxe base, the Sideshow 1/6 E-Web is going for $250-300 on eBay. At the very least for $110 you're getting a 1/4 scale version of the blaster.

Glad I didn't order the 1/6 version yet. I think I'll go for the standard version of this. The Child definitely looks a lit better in the slightly larger scale. Only thing that bugs me here is the dirt on the armor. But that's minor.

I don't know what it is with TBA at the moment, all I get is a Secure Connection page error on mobile and PC.

This is pretty awesome but I dont want to go down a 1/4 rabbit hole. Still...its pretty awesome....

I already have the 1/4 Vader and was so impressed with it, that I couldn't help but order this.

Absolutely no clue where I am physically gong to put it though. I may regret it, just because of space concerns.

Here is the standard version. It's funny to me how a few of you were complaining about the base being generic and now they don't want the delxue base. Lol no but in all honesty I don't see the point of that base ither. https://www.sideshow.com/collectibles/star-wars-the-mandalorian-and-the-child-hot-toys-907267

True, true:cool:

But *thematically* IMO a pile of parts can work for MCU figs, or piles of rubble. Not feeling it here. Chaotic is a good description IMO.

It?ll be nice if those pieces aren?t attached to the base as I?d put the mythosaur skull up front and that?s it

I haven't been able to buy a figure since 2015. Sequel trilogy won't get any of my money but this looks like a new frail piece to go next to my 1/4 HT Boba

Yeah I have the 1/4 Vader too! I think it'll go well with it.

I'm a big fan of diorama type display stands, and the deluxe base looks chaotic! (In a good way :wink1:)

does the vader 1/4 hottoys have detachable base wherein you can use the standard one?

Yeah every single QS figure base has been something that's put over a basic flat one. It's why I believe this one to be the same case. You can see the standard grate base under all the bits on this one so I'm hoping it's the same.

Cor, that base is a living mess, no finesse there at all. I don't know how the 1/6 going up to 1/4 has lost its presence from the speeder bike version also. The speeder bike version looks well proportioned with bulk and presence. This one definitely doesn't translate well at this scale, it looks like a big Neca toy.
