woah, is that right? wow, i'm surprised by that one. especially as most of HK's major blockbusters seem to get worldwide attention thesedays. Japan's less so I think. Warlords even has Jet Li in it, who is a well-known draw in the US.
I love these figures,Goemon and this one.
I am considering them both,not because of what they represent,but the Asian warrior style i find very cool.

I've remember Hot Toys had a Jet Li's prototype figure of Warlords.
Because of Licensing issues they couldn't release it. Anyone still have pictures of it?

Wish they would have at least released this outfit with a different head or something....

Movie is out in a couple weeks. Think I might try and import it. Probably no subtitles, but will have to sit there with the dictionary out. It will probably end up being a 7hr movie

This is the perfect figure. 100% likeness, lots of accessories, fantastic outfit, probably won't cost as much as the more popular characters. I'm going to have to buy one someday to go next to my Goemon figures.
