I don’t see how anyone who’s a DC fan doesn’t find Zack’s JL at least somewhat enjoyable.

Affleck Batman is in The Flash. He’ll definitely get a figure. I predict Hot Toys will make the following in order of likely hood,

- Keaton Batman (main Batman)
- Affleck Batman
- The Flash
- Barry 2.0
- Supergirl
- Zod
- Nam-Ek

Regarding Affleck, spoilers ahead

Spoiler:

Affleck Batman appears. He looks like a live action Hushesque Batman. Blue cowl and cape, grey suit has a motorcycle. Him and Flash have had a falling out, Barry hates him. His Batman is cocky and arrogant, reminiscent of Lego Batman. He has a motorcycle very similar to the Batpod.

Affleck and Keaton never meet. Keaton Batman becomes the main Batman of all the universes. He’s been killed in every other universe battling Zod and Kryptonians until this one. Barry is surprised to learn that the Keaton Bruce exists. Keaton Bruce starts the film as a brooding hermit. He’s lost Alfred, Selina, etc. and holds up in Wayne Manor (which is in a state of disrepair). He looks just like the Dude in Big Lebowski. Long hair, flip flops, disheveled. Flash and young Flash go into Wayne Manor and fight with him before realizing that he’s Bruce Wayne. At first Keaton turns down helping them but then they break into the batcave. Flash mentions missing Alfred (Affleck’s Alfred) and that makes Keaton reminisce about his Alfred which inspires them to help them. Bruce cleans up, there’s a sequence where he’s looking at a picture of his parents, then goes down in the Batcave (via retinal scanner this time) and there’s an awesome suit reveal and suit up sequence.

He replaces Affleck as the DCEU Batman. Keaton helps fights the Kryptonians and has a brutal brawl with Nam-Ek from Man of Steel.

Superman isn’t some insurmountable nut to crack. He’s got almost a century of stories, dozens of well-liked adaptations, global recognition, and countless blueprints they could follow.

Stop being ashamed of Superman. Embrace the fact he’s a colorful, optimistic, do-gooder, old-fashioned piece of purehearted and magical Americana. Marvel did it with Steve.

Superman should be the hero all other heroes hope to be like one day.

Great post. Have loved Supes all my life. We have a few good movies, but so much more could be done. I’ll just have to enjoy my Supes wall for now.

It’s ok but it drags and just isn’t what I want for the Dc universe. You can def be a DC fan and not enjoy that movie or any other dc film he’s made.

Wow no kidding! I had no idea! I love the DCEU and really hope they do an incredible job with the Flash movie. I also love how Ezra plays the Flash so I really hope we don’t get a recast either.

Having him jump into alternate dimensions to make all the DC films canon is a pretty cool idea. I mean, Marvel did it and the fans love it so why not from DC as well..
