I mean it would be one thing if the e-mail with the time the pre-order was going up was accurate. But it sounds like even Nanjin didn't know when it actually went live, which is bad form.

I just don't check on that side of EXO-6 operation. I rely on specialists like Starfleet captains. My focus are development and production.

Might want to check they're putting out accurate information. It seems like that might be pretty important.

I guess I don’t quite get it. Data and Picard had a set ordering window, which was like a month. Janeway who was forecast as being a figure who was going to sell is more limited and sells out directly through EXO-6 in under a half hour?
Remember I said I go by production and not Market Demand? I only concern to make 1/6 Trek continues.

I am 99% onto Supply Economy with 1/6 Trek for the first year.

I don't order production by contracting some 3rd party. We have to arrange our in house production.

Beside TOS and TNG, all other Treks are unknown territories.

Just keep in mind, EXO-6 has a partially enclosed production eco system. We can produce any quantities of figures if we choose to do so.

I am the landlord of the production complex in China, and I rented the space out to some well know 3rd party 1/6 producers.

I don't think anyone of them will say no if I ask for help.

I'm not chasing fifteen minute sellouts in the middle of the night here to collect things any more, so I guess I'll just need to jog on as far as this stuff goes. Oh well, best to make my peace with this now rather than later, I guess.

Happy collecting, fellow Trek fans. I hope you all get what you want. :)

Yes, there's no fun in doing that. Especially if you're in for a full line of a certain series, and never sure you'll actually be able to secure each one.

Better not to start in the first place.

Though it seems production may rise to meet demand. I can imagine TWOK uniforms being in high demand, for example.

Will look into operation after Janeway. I want to see ALL the problems BEFORE engaging Warp 8.

I will have trouble to manevour when in Warp 8. We have to anticipate the possible problems instead of reacting to the problem.

Reacting to problems at hand usually accomplished by digging a hole to cover another hole, not a wise approach.

I rather see all the problems and remedy them as a whole so I can see the full picture. Problems never happen alone. One thing always lead to another.

I am telling you guys all this so you know what to expect and the reasoning behind so you guys know what to expect (except the surprise bombing that I like to do 😅)

I’m just saying though. You set the expectation with the first two figures one way, and then flip it on this one. I get it that Voyager is more of an unknown, but still it seems weird to me that it would sell out that fast.

In that case you might as well tell people the figure is limited to x amount of figures so we know to be on top of things. I was figuring I would be okay to wait until a little later on tonight. I’ll probably go through another vendor this go around.

I got an e-mail several days before and another one day before, saying the pre-order time was 12 PM EST. It translated to 6 PM in Germany and I was sitting here ready. I only saw that other e-mail after I already had ordered.

Yep that’s another thing. The initial email said 12pm EST., which is 1pm my time (central time). It went up like two hours earlier than that.
Really? I never clicked the link until after so I wouldn't know.
I was actually waiting for a "Buy now" button to appear.s
Cool, just wondering if Chakotay will be the s1-3 spiky grey hair or s4-7 jet black slick look.
Oooh! I love the grey hair! But I guess so he fits with Janeway's hairstyle from the later seasons, it will be the latter.

I have been saying this for a whole year that the figures releases will move really fast.

I seriously has no choice for this. Any other route, will only give 1/6 Trek no more than 1.5 years of life span. I am sure no one believes me just like what I did in the past 5 years.

Janeway current performance is pathing the way for EXO-6 from my point of view. The reaction today is a film foundation for 1/6 Trek future.

But again though, based on the first two releases I expected a fair amount of time. Even if not a full month like Data and Picard had maybe a week for Janeway. I didn’t expect a sell out in twenty minutes. No matter, I’m going to get the figure from someone else this time. I’ll still get one.

I’m not trying to knock you, but maybe that should have been communicated a bit better. Also like I say maybe number them in that case. That makes them feel more collectible if they truly are a small run.

I got the email at 11:11am my time. I was expecting the order to go live at 1pm. So not quite two hours, but pretty close.

The e-mail that says order is live now? I got that at 18:11, which is 11 minutes after 6 PM. Maybe you just converted the time wrong?

Then you better prepare yourself for 55th Anniversary Trek figures release. It will be worst than Janeway.

Totally seperate from Voyager and First Contact release schedule. They have their own release and production schedule
I already have anxiety. I can't afford to lose out again. I've waited forever for Star Trek TOS/TWOK collectible like these.

I take it a release announcement is incoming?
