Managed to fix the stand with a thread die, so I've finally got him set up.

This is an amazing piece, probably in my top five figures. The sculpt and engineering are incredible. I love the poseable wrist guards. Between this figure, the Mark 46, and War Machine Mark I, my small Iron Man collection is basically perfect.

Man, these are really drying up. I knew I would be in trouble when all the well priced ones got snapped up on ebay during the 20% coupon day.

Yep, I was gunna ask my LCS to order me a second one, but he had a guy cancel so I picked his up, Glad I was able to double up on this one, My favorite armor next to the mk 7

Hmmm...[emoji848]
Just realized the picture on the box has the ARC Reactor lit in a circle within the triangle. I wonder if they purposely designed it this way. Maybe they had some art for reference that showed it like that?

Snapping the faceplate on the Tony headsculpt really makes me wonder how much clearance there is between the tip of the nose and the inside of the faceplate. I'm sure it's designed to be worn without issue, but man... Looking at it made me a little nervous about paint rub.

Well if it is touching then it is just barely tapping the front of the nose. Not really a way to test it either, haha.

I don't really feel any resistance when I put on the helmet faceplate, and it snaps into place without issue. Hopefully it isn't a problem.

I have an exclusive DC MK VI mint in shipper for sale in the Commerce section if anyone is interested. I ended up with the standard as well and decided to just keep it instead.

I took some daylight photos. My only regret is I'll have to take the batteries out sooner or later.

I feel they really nailed the colours on this armour. I always felt the colours on the Mark 46 were slightly off, so I'm really pleased this one came out better.

Such a rockin’ figure. I haven’t had a chance to spend any time with it, but I feel this one really delivers on the promise and hype of the Hot Toys brand.

In that awful (LOL) hypothetical of “Keep only one” I think it wins easily for me, and that’s saying something given I only buy favourites and must-haves.

Great shots, the light’s perfect.

Is there some trick to the toe articulation I'm missing?
