I'd imagine it will even out over time, just had Voyager and the K'tinga arrive unfortunalty Voyager had a paint smudge on the hull and is coming apart so requesting a replacement, still no sign of the Bird of Prey yet. They are out of stock at the moment but said they will send the 3rd one they have sent me on a special delivery. I can not imagine why them sending issue 3 to me is a such a problem when I have had 4&5 and 6&7.

Sorry to hear about Voyager, I'm really looking forward to that one. I hope returns are easy, I'd hate to have issues getting a halfway decent model with so many coming. I also hear the Refit Ent. has had some major issues, too bad as that one is a favorite. So far no one has released a decent small model of the Refit since Johnny Lightning.

So far I have encountered no problems with any of my other models the refit Enterprise was fine for me as was the K'tinga, it's just Voyager and waiting on my Bird of Prey. I am sure it will be sorted, I hear all they need are details and pictures of the problems and they send a replacement free of charge, I think this is if your a subscriber. I am sure they will sort it if not I'll cancel my subscription, but I doubt it will come to that they seem pretty on the ball. I think they have just not expected the demand this line has in the UK.

I just got this email, important info for those that subscribe to specials:

Nice of them to inform us when we'll be charged.
I kinda want this since it's the first special and it will go well with the other ships from Eaglemoss, but I own the excellent light up hallmark version and all the accessory ships they released for it so this seems like a double dip for me. Paint looks great and I'd love to read more about the design of the space station so I'm in.
Now I've got to save up, at the end of next month it looks like I'd have spent a total of $142.70 in two months on just Star Trek alone, I wasn't expecting it to cost this much. :(

Got that email too. I can't wait to get this, as it's supposed to be diecast. All the other ones I have are just plastic, and thus rather fragile.

I really love the Eaglemoss ships. So glad I subscribed. DS9 turned out great, for one. There hasn't been a ship I've been disappointed with since the Enterprise refit, which was a little plain.

Great sale on the Diamond Select Klingon Bird of Prey HMS Bounty over at Entertainment Earth today... Only $36!

Klingon Bird of Prey at EE

Sallah

I was strongly tempted to try and get this, but right now the money is just not there for me.
I had so many problems with the first version and that still hasn't been fixed (Now the disruptor lights are flickering and dimming on my 4th Diamond BOP :banghead) that it's probably a good thing that avoid this release.

Yeah I've been satisfied with the ships so far, the Excelsior was a little bit of a let down, very small and the nacelles are crooked on mine.
I had a major paint chip on my Romulan Warbird, they sent me a new one so everything is good, turned out to be the best release yet.

Guys, which version of the Diamond Select Enterprise E would you recommend. I see there's one for First Contact and for Nemesis.

Just ordered the Excelsior and preordered what I'm guessing is a rerelease of the Enterprise D. The 'E' and a klingon bird of prey will be next on my list.

I knew that'd get no response. When people aren't in a Star Trek mood they aren't in a Star Trek mood.

Well, there doesn't seem to be much interest in Trek on this forum so it's just a few people occasionally posting here and I haven't checked this thread in a while.
Between the two versions of the E Enterprise the best is the Star Trek: Nemesis version, it has far superior paint detailing.

Both versions of the E are nice but the Nemesis version has a far more intricate paint scheme. I guess it depends on which movie you liked best.

Thanks guys. I prefer First Contact, as most would, but I suppose a better looking toy would take priority...

My Excelsior shipped within hours of ordering, looking forward to that. I deliberately waited rather than buy the Enterprise B as I really want to have the Battle of Khitomer (sp?) ships, Excelsior, Enterprise A, Chang's BOP...

One thing to consider and this is extremely trivial, but on screen the nemisis version of the ship has some very small modifications from the first contact version. It has several additional photon torpedo launchers added to the hull as well as a wall extention to the area around the saucer's shuttle bay.
Both of diamond's E models are physically identical, they're the nemesis version of the ship minus that wall extension I mentioned. So if a very accurate version of the E from first contact is what you'd like, diamond's FC ship isn't it.

I prefer the first contact movie over the nemesis movie as well, but between the two toys, the nemesis version looks the best.

Thanks for that, if the First Contact version isn't even accurate to First Contact and the Nemesis version has a better paint job then the decision is a no brainer.

Its at preorder status on BBTS which suits me fine.

These are such cool toys I must say. I've had the BD WOK Enterprise for a few years and I think its great. All that time I've wanted to add a few ships to the collection and finally now I can spare the money as I've cut way back on Hot Toys.

That's because you're looking in the wrong section;check the Customs Section out. There are at least 4 different threads going for custom Trek figures...PS

I'm avoiding the customs section. I can't afford to be tempted into custom Trek figures. I'd have to give up on GI Joes or Eaglemoss ships to do that. ;)

Unless Howard Chan has a change of heart about Star Trek I'll never buy any figures. Not interested in going down the customs road.

At this point I am hoping QMX can pick up the license for 1/6 scale Star Trek figures and do them like they are doing Firefly. They could do themed waves, start with captain and work backwards through the ranks and departments.

Cool just preordered the new Diamond Select Enterprise A. Been wanting one of those. Reading up on these things the fans are quite critical of them and think this one is overpriced. Maybe they have good reason but as my collecting of Star Trek ships is very limited I'll be cool with it as long as I don't get wonky nacelles.

Reliant is the only other ship I particularly care for them to do now. Dunno why that wasn't made back in the WOK 25th anniversary line.
