I wondered if Ock would remark on the spiderleg things.
Can't wait for this. Hoping it'll be like Infinity War for Spiderman although Spidey films in the past haven't fared well when crammed with too many characters and plotlines.

Alfred Molina is just perfect as Doc Ock, even all these years later. He's an underrated villain.
Can't say the same for Jamie Foxx tho. Still bad casting, imo.
I don't like the central question: they all die fighting SpiderMan... so will Peter save all the villains?
I don't like "its wrong to kill" in action movies. Look what's it done to Batman. I guess I'm just not evolved enough not to want to see punishment for bad people.

The MCU in general has not been shy about their protagonists killing off the villain. I do feel like that as far as MCU characters go, Peter is the least likely to want to kill anyone. He's a kid after-all.

A high school kid like Peter should not be trying to kill people, but if a villain dies while fighting Spiderman, Peter shouldn't feel guilty about it.
The Raimi Spidey films handled well. Spiderman never actually killed anyone, not even the guy that killed his uncle in the first film. That guy died too, but only because he accidentally fell off a building. Peter just looked at his dead body and didn't give a ****. That's perfectly fine, imo. Some of the villains died fighting Spiderman, but their deaths were caused by their own actions, so Dr. Strange should explain things better instead of telling Peter that he's a cold blooded murderer.

But this idea is spreading. Producers aren't concerned with 'what character would be more inclined to not kill'... they simply agree to a world view that killing is wrong and shouldn't be glorified in movies, etc.
Maybe John Wick should just gloriously 'incapacitate' the troves of fighters he has to go through in his movies.

That’s true but we all know Spider-Man wouldn’t really watch an enemy die. He felt guilty about goblin dying for months even after he killed his girl . He isn’t the type of hero to let a villain die. His already tortured mindset couldn’t handle the guilt .
