Well would you look at that! Peggy Carter it is.
That's great!

Not sure why she's cut off in the pics?

Also is this Marvel payback for DC Stargirl looking like a Teen Captain Amerigirl? Or just the universe completley out of new ideas?

Re: Which MCU female character you most want Hot Toys to make?

I wish the thread wasn't just MCU so it could include the FOX Marvel characters.
Logan is inevitable, X-23 is probably not happening. :(I would love to have a figure of her though.
And X-23.

Laura X-23 - the movie and the figure.
Disney abandoning what could have been the possible sequel irks me.
I get it was gobbled up by a studio wanting to restart with a different tone. Yet is there anything creatively that says they can’t do both? (except maybe a lack of vision on their part.)

They’ve absorbed a film with possibly one of the greatest three gen spanning legacy and denouements for two of the best characters Xavier and Logan in the franchise, while simultaneously setting up their legacy Laura X-23, for potential spin-off and expansion.

They had both the writer and acclaimed director of the film on-board for more, not only to do a sequel, but already in the process of developing it. And the actress they want, all game for more!

Mangold said:
‘Logan’: Hugh Jackman on Laura Movie ... – The Hollywood Reporter
The film is continuing to defy expectations. While Logan is the rare superhero project that doesn’t exist to help set up a shared universe or sequels, a spinoff is brewing (“We’re just working on a script,” Mangold says of a film that would center on Dafne Keen‘s Laura).

All building and expanding on a universe they inherited which already establishes possible separate time lines, that not only allows for, but continually uses possible futures and timelines as it's narrative playground. In fact that is still the tangential world they are developing.
So by design It allows for different visions going forward, and wouldn’t conflict with anything they wanted to reboot, since by design like Logan it could be a separate future timeline anyway.

Based on the success of Logan, everything they need; the premise, the writer, director, and actress Dafne Keen Fernández all there, and still seem worth pursuing...

Disney walked away, yet If Disney won't do it, maybe Hot Toys at least can imagine the sequel, and make a sequel X-23 Laura based on Dafne's likeness as she looks even more like the character.

I don't know how everyone on here reacted when they found out about the gender-swap Ghost but I knew nothing of the character and loved her in Ant-Man and the Wasp! (Love the actress too)
She had such a cool design and with the snap we never got an answer as if she had been completely cured or not. (she seemed to be stabilised though so she might not have "vanished".
At the end of the movie she was finding her happiness thinking that Janet could cure her but with everything that happened afterwards they might have not completed their work and she might still feel abandonned because of that.
I hope she returns in Quantumania or with the Thunderbolts (If this ever gets announced)

Still hope the future brings us Valkyrie, Okoye and Lady Sif (among others)
I'm also thinking about getting Shuri but I wonder what she'll become in the next film so I also kinda want to wait for a possible black-panthered-updated suit... (We never know...)

^ :lol Sure I've said it before but I would love to see a 1/4 scale Captain Marvel figure announced/made...I wouldn't buy it as I only collect 1/6 scale, I'd just wanna see the Zurdo reaction to it!!

Agreed, I love Zurdo’s enthusiasm!

I'd be over the STARS AND MOON if it were to happen! :angelsmil

Proxima Midnight…all six and a half feet of her. I’m surprised Hot Toys hasn’t done Okoye yet…

I guess we’ll get Okoye for BP2?

Hoping for a Jolie Thena with Eternals out soon.

Aliens Ripley would be my top female choice in either 1/6 or 1/4. Fully equipped with all clothing options from the film and her Pulse-rifle/flame thrower combo. I expect neither. :(

edit - sorry, forgot this thread is specifically about Marvel :lol
Even so, I really think Ripley from that specific movie is one of the most compelling action heroes in the history of film. But that era for HT is long gone. 😐

On the female side she's easily top for me. Such a believable character and acted so well. Sigourney nailed it in the first 3 Alien movies. She was the best thing about Alien Resurrection but it wasn't really Ripley anymore.

Sonuvagun!! Hours after I posted this reply, onesixthoutfitters.com announced Proxima Midnight for pre-order! Now I just need someone to produce Okoye…..
