Apparently Mando movie is fast-tracked and will be first and will go into production this year, so Rey movie may have been pushed back to eventually fall into development hell. If not, it will likely go into production 2025 rather than 2024

The time between Mando s3 (11 ABY) to Rey's movie (50 ABY)..

The title could be "The Geriatric and The Kid", join the duo for one last team up..

Adam Driver won't return under any circumstances. I recognize that the Ben Solo/Kylo Ren arc has a conclusion in the Sequel Trilogy, but it's a sticking point now.

Hopefully Adam Driver sticks to his guns. He's popular enough that he doesn't have to fear angering the mouse. And he's a true actor in that he enjoys playing the role and making obscure movies and films. Whether they are small Indie films or from big budget studios.

Daisey Ridley once said the same thing. She was done with playing Rey But she has no choice to come back as her career has gone nowhere. She needs Disney even though Star Wars actually ruined her career.

Similar situation to Harrison Ford getting loads of roles post Star Wars while Mark Hamil didn't get such an A list career. I guess if Rey steals the Skywalker legacy the actress gets Hamils career while Solo's enjoy great success outside of Star Wars.

Thankfully I simply don't care who does or doesn't come back any more.

Star Wars has become another property like Terminator or ALIEN (and now Marvel as well) where I'm fully comfortable ignoring entries that I don't consider valid regardless of whether any of the main actors return or not.
