I thought those side straps were welted to the fabric like the center strap down the sternum. The way it looks a little hazy and white all the way up to the armpit is concerning to me. I’d get a replacement from sideshow for that if it’s an option.

Edit: I just double checked and those should both be welted to the fabric AND it should be sewn into the armpit seam. I would be worried if it’s coming off that that implies some level of defect with the way the welted straps were attached to yours so I would definitely return this copy if you can.

I have the most important faceplate missing from the box... That's a first. And some ugly ass marks on the sonar cowl.

Yup that's the DX19 for you, check around the foam it might have been one of the loose faceplates and it fell inside, my loose one was like this too but I found the plate near his leg.

Also a Magic eraser will remove the marks but it does make the area shiney and not consistent with the rest of the cowl so that's up to you.

I've been looking every corner and under everything but Taaadamm it's GONE.
 
Dam i was actually considering getting it but now I'm gonna hold off till it's on sale. Lot of quality control issues I'm seeing here
 
Yeah, I’ve never had so many issues with a figure before. I ended up returning the figure 2 times. Thankfully I ordered from SS, they have pretty good customer service.

Yeah i am in Australia, i like to buy from Australia cause i don't like international shipping, but if i absolutely have to buy international I'm not too fussed

Edit: yeah thats a great price, definitely considering that one. And yeah those new button battery laws are annoying for stuff like this.

Could you take a pic of what you're talking about so I have a sense of how it should be?

Unfortunately where I'm located any exchanges is a real pita to go through. I will try to get an exchange although looking at all the other qc issues the rest got, the next figure may turn out worse.
 
That's awesome.

I get the issue with limited leg movement, but watching the movies, it's not like Bale heavily moved his legs, he's a puncher, not a kicker, I can't think of many moments of him kicking anyone, he kicks Bane on the ground but that's more a soccer kick than anything.
 
Is it possible to futz the suit in any way? Suit pieces on mine are miss aligned like most out-of-the-box pictures here. Thought this was gonna be a home run release to unbox, but nope. Lots of small errors that take away from the whole DX experience.

Neck is rather loose and leans more easily towards one side. Quite annoying. Magnet connector doesn’t work that well, head pops off every time I elevate the head.

Love its eye fixture from the factory. Similar expression I had unboxing it!
