Hmm. Interesting. It’s definitely clear when the gantry removes the chest plate, but you don’t see it “on the body” like here.

Well you're not wrong.

But this is interesting. The Triangle piece lifts up and there's still a glow on it.

With 2 layer of gift tissue paper (per CraigWalker's recommendation).

Fwiw, I've since removed it as I've grown to like seeing the detail through the triangle when it's not lit up.

I'm really liking that look myself. As cool as the underlying detail is, I think I still prefer having something that makes the triangle really pop on the figure even when it's not lit up. Although I might go for something a bit less solid white myself.

Marvel couldn't decide whether they wanted the triangle to be clear or have the tissue paper look either :lol

Yeah I get it. The triangle is a defining characteristic of this armor. Would've been nice to have the detailing plus the entire triangle illuminated when lit up.

As far as it looking solid white, it didn't really look like that in person. The picture almost makes it look I stuck some white printer paper back there.

Ya, it twists way more than that.

Hey so I just received this guy today...same issue. I extended it but still wasn't able to get much twist...

I have to say, it's a bit of a step back that you can't twist this figure without extending him. I was so used to all the other ones having a twist/swivel torso. I understand that there are lights in the abdomen, but still...kinda annoying.

Just got back from a trip, my LCS texted me to let me know not only did my mk 6's arrive, but so did spidey, tarkin/vader, and leia all showed up, expensive month :lol

So excited to open this guy up

And one last thing/words of warning...the accessories are quite fragile.

I am normally super careful with my figures and always wear gloves to handle them, but the tab on the gauntlet weapons and the fixed repulsor hand snapped off with very little to no effort. Nothing a little super glue won't be able to fix, but still you guys should watch out for that.

Other than that...this figure is phenomenal. Get it while you can!

And lastly, a big THANK YOU to the person who came up with tape-the-batteries together idea. I believe I read it from Craig Walker, but whoever was the original brainchild of that idea, thanks!!! :clap

Finally, after being stuck in Customs upon entry to the country for close to two weeks, some duty tax and a missed delivery later he arrived... and, he's a beaut. Almost seems a waste to stand the figures so simply, but with my short time with him so far I can safely say he looks the best of my 3 sixth scale IM. The paint just stands out vs the III and XLIII. The proportions just look better than the III. Even without playing around with accessories, lights, head sculpts, the VI just looks much better than the III. I know the "die-cast" figures are mostly plastic, but he just looks less 'plasticy' if that makes sense. The night time lighting and average cellphone camera just doesn't do him justice.

As a standout piece I'd rank him second after the 1/4 43, with the 1/6 43 in third spot and the 1/6 3 in a distant fourth..

As the fragility of this figure as had my own mishap. When 1st tried putting a palm hand on it wouldn't quite fit on. After a couple tries the soft plastic started to warp at the hole, so i carefully heated it up at that point to get it on.

I would put one in the head.....click, stuck to the head magnet. Put it back, click stuck to magnet.... :gah:

That's when I remembered reading that trick here somewhere. Sanity saver :D

Hey, so just to make sure, you can NOT twist the torso unless you extend the body on this one, correct?

Was it waitlisted? It's listed for preorder right now. I just cashed out my rewards pts for the exclusive. Not something I needed but looks well worth it.

It definitely was waitlisted, but you're right, it's back! Lol. SS playing games to get people to pull the trigger? Or maybe people canceled and they fulfilled all their WL orders? I'd love a 2nd one tbh...
