I've yet to watch it yet, but a buddy of mine mentioned that one of the bigger fundamental changes was the adherence to a love story structure.

Is this true? That's disappointing...if not expected.

Immediately on the onset of him officially meeting Misa, she's purely a tool for the Shinigami eyes. He could't give less of a **** if she was alive or not. I honestly don't even think they were even intimate whatsoever in the Anime/Manga. He strung her along for his own gain.

This is everything that's wrong with the internet. A bunch of CHILDREN with nothing better to do bully an established filmmaker into removing himself from social media. To celebrate said hateful event is both pathetic and depressing.

Posters like the one quoted here who celebrate online hate and feel victorious through someone else's suffering make it truly difficult to continue posting.

Cyber-bullying is a criminal act and has resulted in numerous deaths. Its not a laughing matter. The FBI takes it very seriously.

It's also just pathetic to kick a man while he's down.

I remember when Snyder's daughter committed suicide the usual suspects of Snyder-bashing actually cooled a bit and displayed humanity by not celebrating his exit from JL. The poster in question who's reveling in Wingard's misfortune clearly has no sense of decency and is enjoying his Twitter exile.
