I'm sure someone is going to list why all of these things aren't feasible and yadda yadda yadda.. But still, I believe all of those things should absolutely have been achievable with this figure.
Check a few pages back, it's actually been somewhat discussed already, though I'll admit that a number of people (including me) were actually a lot more pleased with it than you are right now. To address your issues, I'll answer them one by one.

Awesome pic Motuxmen! Is that yours?

I still think that his head could have more movement.. Whether it's adding small hinges to those things that connect to his back.. Or giving his head an extra joint above those pieces so that they move a certain amount with the head, but the head is free to move further. Maybe it would've taken longer to rework the entire system.. Maybe it would've cost them too much to rework the whole thing so they did the best they could with the budget they had. Either way, I think there are ways they could've made it better.

I know that adding waist movement isn't practical unless they added quite a few more joints. And have every piece that's connected to the waist be on some sort of joint. So, I agree that that's fine. But I don't see why they couldn't have added some sort of joint in the chest above where that crunch joint is. I'm not asking for a major joint that allows a ton of movement.. Just something that would allow a small bit of rotation, maybe just a little less movement than the head on this figure has. This isn't a huge deal, it's just a little surprising.

Yes, he does have teeth in the movie, but you rarely see them.. Going back and scrolling through scenes, you only really see them when he's smiling. I'm not saying that they shouldn't be there at all, I'm just saying its a shame that they're always there when his mouth is open. And going back through a couple of the prototype shots, they're just not as noticeable as they are in recent photos. Part of me was expecting some sort of system that would raise and lower the teeth. If another headsculpt were included, one without his teeth exposed, and with the circles on his cheeks opened, I think it would've helped the overall appeal a lot.

The lack of ankle pivots is just really strange to me.. Out of all of the iron man/armor type figures, I expected this thing to have the best pivoting ankles because there doesn't seem to be any armor that could possibly hinder it. The only thing I can think is either they couldn't work it in aesthetically.. Or maybe it wouldn't be stable enough.

Yeah, that's why I said I was hoping for an ultimate version with massive improvements.

Like I said, I've had this preordered for a long time. I would prefer an ultimate ultron.. But I was going to get this because of how great and imposing it was. Even with the lack of accessories (like an angry head, his shawl thing, a throne, battle damage, etc).

I guess the price just feels a little bloated because of its height. There's no doubt that it looks beautiful, and unless there's a reveal of an ultimate version prior to this hitting stateside e-tailers.. I'll probably still get this. I guess that's why I'm being so vocal about the flaws.. I know I'm going to get it, that's why I wish it were a little different.

Also.. I know the fixes I'm asking for are major structural changes, so I'm not saying this thing was in any way downgraded between the prototype and now. I just wish these things were included in the design from the beginning.

Like I said, I'm probably going to wind up getting it. I just think it could've been better. I love almost everything hot toys has done, and I rarely ever nitpick like this. But when there are standards set by other figures, it just makes it difficult to accept when those things aren't included on something new.

Great pic Motuxmen!

I am still thrilled with how he came out. I know there are always things that could have been done, or should have been done in some folks opinion, and I agree with some of them, but it still doesn't take away from the fact that this is a great figure and an outstanding unique piece for any HT collector.

Wow! If there's any doubt of getting this.....these photo for sure will change your mind. :lol Sweeeeet base. :rock

Saw this done over on FHC. Modded eyes to be movie accurate red and the eyes can now be seen even with the LEDs turned off. Hot Toys should have done this.

After:
1st photo is with the LED on but with the flash from the camera washing it out. 2nd is without any LEDs turned on.

Wait, so what's the mod exactly? Have a link to it?

Wow.. After watching that, I find myself feeling a bit disappointed.

The minimal head movement is a huge shame.

The lack of any torso turn anywhere is a bit of a shame.

The teeth always exposed when his mouth is open is a bummer.

The lack of any ankle pivots is a huge bummer. I was REALLY surprised at that. That's a shame.

Add that to the $370+ price tag, and surprisingly I'm starting to second guess this figure.

Seeing this review now has me hoping for an ultimate ultron with some massive improvements.

This thing was a sure lock for me.. I've been waiting for it for a long time. But the few problems I had with it prior to this review now seem magnified with these new ones brought to light.

Ugh.. Now I have some decisions to make.

Yes. BS videos leave a lot open. How do the lights work. How do the panels work. How many switches r there. How does it look with lights off. He gives a 100000 foot elevation view. I want real people 'possibly not getting comped' reviews.

Budget Stark is just a serious HT Iron Man/Avengers collector. He just likes to give a rundown of a figure, and give folks peaks at HT or Hong Kong area figure stores, and new releases. He doesn't get paid by HT, or anyone else. He is the manager of a forensics lab, and thats his main source of income.
The Clipper King does in depth videos of figures, but it will be a bit before he gets one to review. The Clipper King doesnt get paid by anybody either. His reviews are brutally honest actually.

Budget Stark has always made a point of saying that he doesn't do figure reviews. He was cool enough to provide us a glimpse of this thing.

With the exception of the teeth everything else you complained about would make the figure look a lot less good or more unstable.
