I love that scene. Batman knows the riddler's ego won't let him turn down a riddle from him. He even tells him an easy riddle just to throw him off guard and then delivers that awesome one liner before throwing his batarang. Love BF so much and i have always loved kilmer's batman. It's a movie that could only exist in the 90's and is forever timeless because of it.

I mean i hope i'm wrong, but i don't think i am. HT rarely surprises anymore. I mean maybe if the sales from these two figures were big, HT would take notice and go at it. There is no way to know for sure, but i won't hold my breath. This is big reason for me to get these figures as they most likely won't come around again. I think the only batman figure we will see from HT in the near future will be from The Batman 2.

Well if DC was a far more reliable and stable brand, HT would release more DC stuff. Blame WB for why HT's siding with Disney.

You are right, but even still if that weren't the case batman forever just doesn't have the popularity needed for HT to take an interest in. I'm really surprised they made these at all. You're right though it is a brand issue. Batman just aren't in demand like they used to.

I really wanted to like these figures. And in some ways I do. But the inaccuracies stand out to me like a sore thumb.

Sonar:
The gloves and boots should be the same color as the suit.
The cape should be a darker gray than the suit itself. But only on the outside. The inside was black.
The torso is missing the oblique "wings"
The shoulder caps are not supposed to look like the Batman Begins shoulder caps.
The cod piece isn't correct but that is pretty minor.
The Prime one statue is even worse as far as accuracies.

Robin:
Colors are wrong. Period.
The pecs are way too flat as other people have pointed out.
The positive of the Robin figure though is the cape is actually pretty accurate, not only shape wise but material wise as well.

Both figures could use a full repaint. The suits were never that glossy.

Kilmer is 5,9 ( 182 cm)

On the pic, the HT kilmer looks almost 6,5…

Kilmer is 6'0. Look at him next to Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Tom is more or less Keaton's height.

I do wish they had corrected robin before it was too late to do anything. The red color is wrong, the green is too bright and the belt is wrong. The red should be a dark red metallic and the belt should be more of a brass color. It does kinda disappoint me. Batman way less than robin though.

I can sympathize with folks that have a creators eye, hard to be satisfied with anything mass produced. Personally the color bothers my less than the shape. Have the Batman in hand and there is some flex in the suit at the shoulder and sides so I'm wondering if body padding would help. Hoping that's the case for Robin when he gets here. His flat chest bothers me more than every other inaccuracy combined.

In my memory Keaton is taller than Cruise.

You’re rounding down when you should round up for Kilmer.
182cm is so close to 6’ that’s it’s more accurate than saying he’s 5’11”.

Irrespective of his actual height, that figure has friggin’ huge stilt legs. Things like that are why InArt stating their aim to create unique bodies to match character proportions is so appreciated. I don’t know why other brands think they can just keep extending the crap out of a figure’s shins without understanding how that throws off the appearance of the entire body.

Just unboxed mine today, I don’t know what anyone else feels when unboxing this thing is but for me it’s pure nostalgia.
That batman forever summer was amazing & I love this guy.
I would of preferred the panther suit but this will do, it’s better than I thought.
A lot of complaints about it but i don’t have much to complain about it at all. Just glad I got him-it was so hard to get a “regular suit” batman toy from that film at the time it was released/it was all toy variants of the suit.
Total blast from the past & I love it.
He’s definitely getting a shelf all to himself

Armored bats is taller it’s just the pose I have him in. Here he is alongside the new knightmare bats-he’s the same height almost and against the dx 19 & 09 he’s a giant
