This somehow looks even cheaper than the MMS155, and that’s saying a lot. With the shine it looks like GIMPMAN.

Hate the way they painted the cowl Batman headsculpt’s eyes.

Whats sideshow policy regarding returning brand new unopened figures due to dissatisfaction?

I like how they took the Batsuit that's suppose to be MATTE and just said **** it, spray it with some nice shiny gloss to really **** this release up. Bravo Hot Toys. The only part that's suppose to have a bit of gloss to it is his gauntlets.

Terrible proportions and just all around an embarrassing looking figure to release in this day and age. Just terrible.

Been ******** on this figure since it was announced and rightfully so. It's actually crazy how bad this figure looks. Star Ace level of bad imo.

Sideshow are very lenient heck you can probably open the figure and still get it returned

Just seen Dean Knight is getting the figure for the review. That will be brutal!

Is there anyway to get rid of the shine? If not I can't even use a new cape and cowl on the figure. The 2011 is actually better, how the hell is that even possible!

The original is a dust magnet, but I’m wondering if this new awful sheen was meant to help with that and deterioration over time. Either way, it’s ******* disappointing.

I gotta be Frank with myself-I’m keeping my pre order I love the begins suit-its my favourite suit aside the returns suit. I just don’t think we’ll see another 1/6 begins-I hope I’m wrong- so much room for improvement

Thanks, I'm ok with keeping figures that have minor issues. But this awful, not even worth sticking inside my tumbler with the top cover closed

this looks like Crazy Toys Batman Begins or something Hate to be that guy but considering how IA is doing a TDK suit, let's all hope they give this ago and give Begins some actual much deserved respect in 1/6 form.

Also it looks like the belt does not budge and won't move to cover his lower ab section. I'm assuming this since all of the in-hand photos no one have tried to cover it up

I don't see any cause for concern. The Batman Returns figure has held up fine, and the material is basically the same. One thing you do need to be mindful of is that the matte finish on the cowl scratches easily.

The MMS67 suit is the only not shiny one. The 2011 one was a bit shinier and now 11 years later we get an even shinier one. It’s crazy that this cowl originates from the MM67 too. It’s insane that this is a near 15 year old figure more or less, rereleased, and actually made worse than it was 15 years ago.

I can just see this guy leaning over to peck some seed.


Not sure about the cape choice here but with a custom head it can look okay, it doesn’t look that shiny here for some reason.
