【Batman (1989) - 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible】

The Batmobile is Batman’s primary mode of transportation, also one of the most daunting components in his vast arsenal, keeping it stored in the Batcave when not in use. The vehicle's popularity with fans has established a strong following and easily ranks with the 1966 Batmobile as one of the most popular Batmobiles of all time.

Inspired by the appearance of Batmobile in Tim Burton’s live-action movie Batman (1989), Hot Toys is launching the legendary ride as 1/6th scale collectible.

The screen-accurate Batmobile measures approximately 100cm is fully designed to capture the mechanical design and painting bringing the remarkable Bat vehicle to reality. Features an incredible amount of details such as the slide-open canopy door; head and taillights, jet engine and dashboard panel with LED light up function; rotatable wheels; gadgets including the side-mounted batdisc launchers, machine guns, grappling hooks and shinbreakers, and a rotary base to recreate scene in the Batcave.

The Batmobile is going to make an awesome addition to your Bat collection!

Looks like a straight up reissue, they didn't even bothered to improve the paint job. That said I'm sure this is a far better value for money than the expensive albeit superior Jazzinc version.

Having owned the first one I can say with confidence it's very, very good ... but if you're going to commit to giving up that much space (it's freaking huge) for that long if not indefinitely (selling a piece that large is fraught) ... maybe one would rather save up and spend more on one that's more accurate. I guess it depends on final cost.

I am so happy for all the collectors out there now have the opportunity to get this batmobile and choose which company you want it from. I just hope hot toys don’t do you guys too bad and charge something astronomically more than $600 that it was originally. But my god the OG Batmobile box was massive up there next to ecto one.

A perspective I hadn't thought of.....

Oddly enough I was about to sell this at great price along with my Returns Batman. I’m guessing I’ll be doing that now at peanuts lol.

I can't believe it. I was gonna drop down some stupid money to get the original. So glad i held off. This is a day one. Even if i don't get the 89 reissue, this i HAVE to get
All this will do is drive down the pricing on the secondary market. If you want a real bargain, and don’t want to wait another year, that seems to be a much better option.

Honestly it looks like a straight reissue you'd be fine keeping the old one...unless your intentions to sell it weren't because of a reissue.

I let mine go during the first pandemic lock-down and made back all my aftermarket money. I won't be getting another but if I were ... I'd get the Jazz Inc.

This will be an awesome alternative for collectors wanting the 89 Batmobile, but can't afford the JazzInc version........:)
