Is there no end to Present Toys' ambition?

I’m not a fan of these movies enough to purchase their figures but the Spock isn’t bad. Kirk looks like he has mumps, probably caught it from an Orion.

At certain angles in particular these look very comical.

Frankly I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I opened the BBICN thread.

At first I put this thread into the General Star Trek one as an alert, but that's EXO-6's thread and it wasn't right to push these in nanjin's face. Though I suspect he already knows about them and will be taking action.

I mean depending on what the price point is, they might appeal to a certain collector. I wouldn't pay $185USD or anything like that if I was a huge fan of the JJ films. I can see the actors in the sculpts so they're not horrible but there's better out there for the money. It's nice to see other companies getting into Trek assuming it's not violating any licensing deals or the like. I don't know much about this company.

Present Toys make unlicensed figures, and also recast existing sculpts.

He's not pleased on Facebook. And rightfully so.

I would love to see Exo 6's versions.

Didn't think to look at his Facebook pages:

As of today, Present Toys and whoever sells or buys 1/6 Star Trek from them is my enemy, forever. This applies to ANY vendors who carry our figures.
Unfriendly me, and stay out from my sight, and if you are a vendor, then forget about working with us permanently.
For those friends who are willing to support me, please share my declaration
🙏
especially if you are in the 1/6 communities.

War progress:
17 minuted in to this war, i have 2000+ China Trek Fans joining me to root them out.
I will be contacting Alibaba Pictures about this tomorrow morning. Alibaba has the IP for JJ Trek.
Watch me eliminate anyone who sells these Trek bootleg on TaoBao, the orgin of the source.

Well those are hideous... I can't imagine those selling well even if there wasn't a superior company putting out figures in the Trek sphere. Theres that one angle of the Spock which looks ok (if you squint) but Kirk is just scary bad!

The target market for Star Trek, especially in 1/6, isn't that big and Kelvin figures are an even more niche segment of that already niche market. Gonna be peg warmers for sure!

I initially thought that at least the Present Toys uniforms looked kinda decent, but looking again at Nanjin's early proto in 2016 I still far prefer his. All the figure really needed was to be put on a bigger body.
