Oh, G Zeus, that's right, they might make an incredibly screen accurate 80 year old Indy that no one wants.
That's very much their style, new over old, so yeah, I expect an old man Indy. I would include an extra young Indy sculpt, since the costume is basically the same, but I doubt they would do that because that's not their style.

I don’t see why. They rarely “get it right” anymore.
12” doll market is dying anyway. People want POPS and 1/12 figures.
I've honestly never felt the need to rewatch the movies. They're fine flicks and all, but... eh. I don't even hate TKotCS. Maybe it's because I like Ancient Aliens stuff. But honestly, I've played the vidya, I've even read the comics back in the day, but IJ isn't a franchise that I've ever consciously revisited. RotLA remains my favourite because of the setting. It gives me some Lawrence Of Arabia vibes and I like that aesthetic. ToD was fun though. It's TLC that I find the most boring of them all. Same villains as the first but with less memorable scenery. I wish Atlantis was a proper film instead of a point-&-click game though. I like Indy as a character so I'd jump on a new figure, obviously, but the films themselves are "just there" for me. Might just be my generation but growing up with Lara Croft and eventually Nathan Drake, I wanted more "high-octane action" in my adventure movies. Whatever, I'm actually pretty pumped for the new flick. Maybe because there's very little from modern pop culture that actually excites me anymore.
They've done Nazis and Soviets, so I wonder what they'll do this time. Wolfenstein Nazi Soviets? Go into some Hellboy territory and have them searching for the World Tree or whatever?

Good point, but isn't the movie set in the past? Billionaire Technocrat doesn't jive all that much with IJ, unless said Billionaire Technocrat has some plan to awaken [Insert God From X Culture Here] or harness the power of [Insert Artifact From Y Culture Here] or something.
In Penny Deadful she gets violently ****ed by Satan while naked. I watched three seasons of that, and that's still the most memorable scene.
