Cheers, jye4ever!

As for Flashpoint, part of me would have liked to see Keaton in the suit they had originally designed for him before it was modified into Kilmer's Panther Suit for Batman Forever (which I also hope gets the 1/6 treatment some day). At this point I'm not sure how well the sculpted muscles would look on a Bruce Wayne in his late 60's. Maybe the timeless art deco aspect of the Returns outfit, combined with a couple of additional functional design choices would be the more appropriate way to go. That said, wouldn't it be awesome if there were a couple of flashbacks in the film showing him in either suits in his late-30's, early 40s? Can't wait for that comic adaptation either.

If anyone's looking I have a brand new one for sale, things have to go eventually. Listed it on eBay too.

Hi folks, I rarely frequent the DC boards, but are the rumors of a Batman 89 reissue/update true?

I've been meaning to ask those who have this figure... How's the rubber suit holding up? I passed when it came out because of the all the previous problems Hot Toys had with these things.

Suit on mine is still exactly how I got him when he was brand new. The only thing for me is the arms wont stay out to hold his cape. I wish this one had the ratchet arms like the returns Batman. The Burton figures are still my favorite figures I have. Joker is great but I wish Penguin and Catwoman were made to go with them.

I have had mine since release and it still looks like it is fresh from the box. No problems.

HT rubber holds up fine for me. I never do 90 degree bends though.

I have had the Begins suit since 2009 and the rubber has not broken or cracked anywhere nor have any of my rubber figures.

Pleather stuff on the other hand I have a few issues with.

I don't think there are any widespread issues of the suit (if any) because HT used thick vinyl instead of rubber like the old Bale figures. The more common issues are the cape flaking in time, PERS broken and the boot hole cracking. I think the suit has proven itself to be more durable than most would expect.

If HT is to reissue this guy, it would be great if they gave him the sturdy metal body under the rubber suit like the recent Hellboy figure.
