Just watched this again... it defies all logical and comprehension how the **** this got snubbed at the Oscars for best cinematography.

It would literally have to go down as one of the top 20 of all time. They even purpose-build lenses in collaboration with Arri to achieve the result.

Mind boggling how pathetically obvious Hollywood has become.
 
That's the thing about institutions and power in general. Ideals drift. Power corrupts. Things fall apart. Regular renewal fueled by critical thinking, rather than dogmatic ideology masquerading as compassion is what human endeavour needs, lest we atrophy and rot.
 
I hope they'll be either a new Batmobile or the same one but with weapon/gadget upgrades in The Batman Part 2.........:pray:
