I think it was Tales of the Bounty Hunters that made me care about both Dengar and Bossk. Further reading has only enhanced that.

Have to say, seeing Trandoshans onscreen kind of messed with my head canon. Had always imagined them as somewhat bigger than the average human, not as big as Wookiees but definitely bigger. And maybe a little bulkier too. Especially the upper body. Knowing the stuff they can do, just generally enhanced physicality.

Then onscreen theyre the same size as people.
Totally agree. At least in TCW they were taller, and while more wiry they had power behind that physique. But I've also felt most of the OT era aliens have been off the mark.

Definitely a mixed bag of a finale. It was entertaining enough and certainly had lots of cool moments (the best of which involved either Mando or a rampaging Rancor), and we finally got to see Boba kick some ass... but it wasn't enough to undo the damage to the character that had already been done. And ultimately we're still left with this rather lame and uninteresting version of Boba that no one wanted. Which is what makes the whole thing feel like such a waste and disappointment.

I have to say I liked Cad Bane in the finale episode. Might be the fact that he talked and did a bit more than in chapter 6, but I thought he looked better. I'm looking forward to see a figure of him.

My biggest want is and remains Cobb Vanth. Hopefully with the Mando S2 armor and of course an unhelmeted sculpt.

I think it sucked he wasn't in the final chapter. It would've been better if he led the Freetown people with some new armor. Not sure of what to think of him being in the bacta tank with the Mod-Doctor there.
Hopefully the mod will be something easily hidden, like Fennec's.

With Boba proclaiming "this isn't something for people like us" and the after credit scene with Vanth, I could see them moving toward him as leader/marshall of Mos Espa and Boba going his merry way to being a side character again.

I thought the townspeople told Boba that Vanth was dead. Then we see him in the bacta tank.

Then we see SW Rick James about to do surgery on him. Is he still alive? Did he consent to possible modification? Are they using his dead body to make some... thing? else? This is perhaps the darkest and most disturbing thing we saw in the whole show.

[Fennec didnt consent either, but she was already unconscious and would have died otherwise]

I think the Weequay just said "shot him in cold blood" which I interpreted as being shot, but not killed. So we could have a "surprise" appearance later.

Cad Bane is dying? say no more...

To be honest, after the final episode, I am even thinking about cancelling my Mandalorian Boba Fett Deluxe now.

While watching that scene, I just had to keep thinking about the bobf show...

I already did. Jango too.

Temuera Morrison and the Fett lineage are ruined for me now.

Despite my disappointment with BoBF I’ve decided not to cancel any of my Fett pre-orders. It’s a bit like my sequel trilogy figures of Luke, Leia and Han. I don’t love how they were handled in the films - but I’ve loved these characters since I was a kid, and that’s who I see when I look at the figures. It’s the same for me with Boba Fett. I’ve loved that character forever and I think I’ll be able to enjoy the Fett figures as a progression of a beloved character - without always thinking about the show. Plus - I’d rather get them now and sell them later if I change my mind, than change my mind later and pay after market prices!

I have to say, as soon as the "rat catcher" fight started, I stopped watching. These figures are unsurprisingly nice, but they really failed to deliver a compelling narrative for such an iconic character. Less is more, Disney. Less is more.

Spot on. I also have the ST Han, Leia, Luke and Chewie on a shelf together going on an adventure. In my head canon they all are about to board the Falcon! Just like my first love of Boba Fett being based on his incredibly cool look, I can enjoy the aesthetic of the post OT Fett without having to reconcile the BoBF series. I know not everyone can do that but I'm glad (albeit not from a wallet perspective) that I can.

Yeah, I had already cancelled my Boba Fett Deluxe order as well. I thought that Fennec was a far better standout character than the iteration of Boba we got. Then comes Mando and it was over for me at that point.
