Got the Encyclopedia today finally, first impression is good, seems to explain just about anything in the AC universe and i can't wait to sit down reading it:)
It is a matter of taste, but i always prefer Hardcover and this is a softcover.

Also, some really nice high quality 8x10 concept arts of all kinds of Assassins from different eras and countries were added to this product(Not a part of the ecyclopedia itself). Some of them are the ones you might have seen allready like the Assassin in Egypt, the Cowboy.A teaser for upcoming AC games were just wishful thinking i guess.

Here are some pics of the Assassin's Creed Encyclopedia - White Edition which I've ordered from amazon.ca.

It's really well made - the book is packaged in a cool bag:

Bumping this thread because I was wondering whether any freaks are playing the multiplayer of Revelations? Would be cool to see some familiar boardie names in there. Been playing the Wanted mode mostly and loving it. Pretty addictive...

I must admit i'm loving this, i'm a massive fan of the series and have played them all but I thought I wouldn't be playing it as much as I am just because I was bored when playing brotherhood.

It's pretty much the same gameplay wise but the story is brilliant as per usual. I love Ezio in this even more, he is one badass old dude, love the Altair parts, too.

I hope we get some story DLC and not just MP DLC, would be nice to hop back into ezios shoes for a new adventure one last time.

I'm really struggling on this one. Can't get into it.

Have finished all of them and loved Brotherhood the most (which is impressive for it being the 3rd game in)

But its all starting to feel old in this 4th one and more of the same.

Doesn't help that the siege combat addition is an awful jarring add on that isn't implemented well. Hate that....easier to just let the Templars take the building then kill the captain quickly to take it back.

I don't know, I was really excited to get this and continue the series, but not so much now that I'm playing it.

I know what you mean. I certainly understand your point of view. Definitely not as good as Brotherhood. Sadly, the formula (for me) has started to feel old on this one. It's almost like it was Assassins Creed 2.3.

The next one needs to have a new feel to it.

I bought Brotherhood when it first came out but never got around to playing it. I had too many new games that I ended up getting to first. Then Amazon had a great sale on Revelations, so I picked that up. Decided this last weekend to start on Brotherhood and I love it. I'm about 1/2 way through and I'm enjoying it more than I did AC II.

I'm a little bummed to hear reviews for Revelations are a bit disappointing. I'm going to start on it as soon as I finish Brotherhood. Really looking forward to see how this whole story pans out.

Wow, so here's some really crappy news. I just opened my copy of ACR that I ordered online from Best Buy on Black Friday, and the disk was loose, and warped. I didn't notice the disk being loose before because it was clamped on the top portion of the case. In addition, it has two really heavy indentations.

Not sure if I can get an exchange because it's been so long, but I'll try....

Just to update, I followed the advice from another forum and poured hot water over my warped disk and it worked! That's probably the craziest thing I've ever done. :horror I'll always open up my games from now on.

In any case, on to AC Revelations! :panic:

That's crazy, how the heck did it get warped?

If you're playing Revelations right after immediately after playing Brotherhood for the first time, I am sure you will not be disappointed. To me Revelations acted like a DLC to Brotherhood. Other than the change in scenery, everything else was pretty much the same.

I just started playing ACR, and all I have to say right now, is WTF happened to Desmond's face? :horror I seriously didn't recognize him.

He looks like an NBA player... whose I can't remember. :rotfl

It was dislodged from the disk insert and clamped between the top part of the case. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Most likely, it happened at the factory, where the game was being packaged and shrink wraped. I guess the moral of the story, is to always open up your games, to make sure that everything is okay. Don't leave it sealed until the return/exchange period has expired, like I did :slap.

I feel like i can go on with this game for plenty more hours,i enjoy it that much. But ive finished just about anything, even located every single treasure chest, working on the challenges right now...It may be just me who spent too many hours each day after the release and finished it too quickly, but i felt like it was a little bit too short.
