Thanks for taking the time to post pics. I'm sure that will set a lot of people's minds at ease with how they've packed the Deluxe.

Thats probably normal right now. Paid for Arwen but they shipped two weeks later. Just give it time.

My Arwen took 4 days to reach me in Canada. I was shocked with how fast the shipping was this time.

Oh boy Asmus has another winner on their hands! I took a ton of pics so please bear with me in this review. The head sculpt and paint apps are top notch, I really have no idea how anyone can prefer V1 after the comparison at the end. The scabbard belt was a real pain! I messed with it for almost an hour or maybe it was half an hour but it felt like a looong time and trial and error. So let’s start with the packaging, the shipping box was very heavy. So happy to see the Art box back. Also, the diorama is gigantic!

Part 2: Legolas
As you can see the sculpted hair is painted really nicely to match the rooted part. One of my main concerns was the mismatch in color but mine at least has some kind of shiny coat or wash to brighten out the crayola yellow we have seen. The eyes look great and displays realistic reflection and glint. The tailoring is improved and the tunic has the more accurate symmetrical split (though mine sorta folded over because of messing with the scabbard belt too much and I will fix it).

The major improvement over V1 would be the nose and chin. V1 has a much broader and longer nose which does not look like Orlando Bloom. The chin is also exaggerated in V1. Everything is much more refined and subtle in V2.

Accessories seem similar, the Galadhrim bow gifted by Galadriel seems identical but the detail is sharper. The long knives seem better as well but hard to tell without a proper comparison. The Rohirrim sword blade is actually plastic instead of die cast but it makes sense for Legolas. You wouldn’t want extra weight on this figure since he barely uses it in the film and the quiver is already heavy. I noticed the knife scabbards aren’t plastic and they are separate from the quiver and encased around some cloth. It feels very premium and was a nice surprise.
