The only Pred I was ever going to buy was the Classic, but I hated the body they used. Now that they're revisiting him with the new tech, I'm so in!

¿its more badass than the first attempt?

Classic is:

Shorter;
Fatter;
Mask is wider;
He doesn't have the skull necklaces;
His mandibles don't close like P1;
He is missing a tube on his left arm.

Crappy body, oversized bio, and too short. I think that just about sums it up for me when i saw it.

Fairplay man. Shame.

that's been answered a few times. but yes, a few differences. the bio is totally different. it doesn't have any skull bandoleers or bone necklaces. the shoulder cannon is totally different. and it doesn't have the left bicep armor that connects to the wrist comp. this really isn't gonna replace the P1.

Damn. Was considering the body to replace my P1.

As the figures go, yeah, theres quite a lot of differences, but a lot of them are very minor - like the engraving details on the armour.

I think it can easily be converted into a P1 Predator but at minimum you would need a non damaged bio helmet, the trophy necklace, animal skull trophies, spine trophy, left bicep armour with tube that goes to his wrist computer, and his waist pouch.
There are of course a lot of other things that could be done to futher the accuracy like a reshaped bio, remove the BD on his shin armour, modify the laser cannon etc etc

Classic Predator finally came to light ...
However I wanted a Dx Predator Classic/P1
from these early shots (we don't know for other specific details now) looks like a Classic after a diet ...
the mask is not large, more like P1 as dimensions


It seems almost a hybrid that needs some additional accessories (mask integrates, cover biceps, leather laces ...)


If Hot Toys wanted to make the Classic Predator; This is not accurate because it also tends to P1 but it is not
then Hot Toys are to make us all happy ..... don't leave us like that!

Is it just me, or does the figure actually look better than the pic from the movie? I also felt that with the super predators.

I will really cry if HTs revise what has already been shown of the classic Pred. I like the way it is. I hate how he looked in the movie...fat ____!

I don't think they could decide which route to take. It's Classic that wants to be P1, minus afew things.

WTF where they thinking when they made clasic FAT... looks like a before and after JENNY CRAIG month cyle..!!!.. P1 is so awesome..
i have a p1 hot toys and there is no way that this guy is gona replace him..

and YES ! the HT is beter than the actual movie classic.. a bit thinner ( still fat + Fat MASK !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shadows head sculpt looks pretty much similar to what may be used for Classic. If you compare these two photos though it's obvious that Classics mask is sculpted into the head.

If the mask was sculpted on, then ,The classic pred would be THE BIGGEST & EPIC HOTTOYS FAIL in their history

Neverthless, Tracker, and Falconer never showed up their faces in the movie,(and HT had the perfect excuse) however, classic showed his face in the movie for quite some time. (like Berserker)

Moreover, knowing all the complaints they had with Tracker and Falconer in that sense. I think they will have learned from their own past mistakes...and this time, they have'nt any excuse to do the same

Anyway...looking at that picture, I can't see that the mask was sculpted directly in the head ¿¿??
