Wow that was just.. amazing. For someone that isn't a professional, it sounded near perfect. She actually reminded me very much of the performer who played Fantine in the Les Miserables 10th Anniversary Concert.

I think it was Simon's way of telling a joke he said he knew it would be something extraordinary. As in really good or really bad

All you have to do is watch America's Got Talent once and you know that almost every show is like that. Just like the first few episodes of Idol, its all about making fun of the losers. So I have no doubt that those were real reactions. And why not play it up? The whole world is so stuck on image that people like Susan Boyle are always over looked.

Imagine people's reactions if William Hung had gotten in front of the judges and burst out with some flawless Pavaratti (spelling?).

Exactly, it was pretty obvious when Simon's eye's lit up like saucers he never saw it coming.

Even though I never watch these type of shows. I have to say after watching the video I think she is a true inspiration. She sure showed them.

very touching, I don't watch America's got talent but I know its utter crap.You could tell that its a complete knock off from The British version just from the big X on the judges panel. but this was a very sweet story, and Im happy she could actually sing.

How does that change the sound coming out of her mouth in anyway??? No matter ow muc editing or cut aways or effects are added, THE WOMEN SUNG THE SONG.....

at people saying it was overdone, just screams cynicism and nitpicking. The same people wish they had as much talent at anything as this women has at singing...

They weren't criticizing her singing. They were criticizing the editor for how he cheesed the whole thing up.

Yeah how dare anyone turn a feel good story into national news....when there's so many more tragic, depressing stories out there, beside the 95%+ that are already being covered.
