I can’t wait to read comments from brain dead fools who say “just don’t buy it”
Are intelligent collectors supposed to buy things they hate the look of? Is that where I’ve been going wrong all these years; by only spending my money on well made figures of characters I have an attachment to? Dammit.
He's very pro-Snyder, but the guy stated that in the short time he has on the film he finally figured out how to play the character well.
I feel like he was absolutely trolling when he said that.
It’s like ‘Typical, in this movie that spells the death of the Snyder-Verse, in which I’m only on screen for 5 minutes, I finally figured out how to be the perfect Batman to unite the fandom. Shame you’ll never see that again.’
Pure sarcasm. He just wants out.

I thought the same. The Batcycle looks underscaled but not surprising with Hot Toys at this point.

I couldn't help noticing the lack of a chain drive for the rear wheel on the HT cycle. Maybe it gets digitally erased for the movie? I suppose in the film this thing will have some make believe propulsion system...

I'm guessing it's magnetic-based power transmission without chain.
I think the bike looks awesome, but the Bat-fat is not.
Will decide after watching the film. (The same reason I didn't pre-order the batcycle from the Battinson movie.)

I actually prefer the scale of the HT bike. The set photos to me make it look comically large.

So we've been focusing a lot on the not so great face plates, but I think the cowl/cape transition is bizarrely jarring. Between the actual costume design and HT's designs, a LOT of weird choices were made to get us here.

I always felt like Affleck was too busy with his personal life, and embarrassed by the critical reception of BvS, to want to play Batman anymore. I think he signed up thinking the Snyderverse was going to be much more high-concept than it turned out to be.

There was always the rumor he was contractually obligated to appear in three more movies after BVS, idk if that was true. If it was true, it seems he could have declined to offer his likeness out of a wish to begin distancing himself from a franchise he is officially no longer required to be a part of.

That seems petty to me but actors can be weird about their perception. Especially if they feel recent work has diluted their brand. Affleck was riding pretty high as a director and actor before BVS and, unrelated to the Snyderverse I assume, his recent work just hasn’t generated the buzz he was getting back in the early 2010s.

I’m just thinking out loud though. Who knows, this could 100% be a Hot Toys issue or intentional decision.

He has come out multiple times that his favorite experience was BvS. I cant comment if he was embarrassed, but if he was, he wouldn’t have come back for zacks justice league additional photography, the flash, the probably cut cameo to aquaman 2, and of course, being a surprised guest to snyder’s full circle Q and A.

Do we know who designed the cycle?

Costume designer has designed a lot of the MCU movies.. without seeing the movie in proper lighting, I can see the busy honey comb pattern as a way to distract enemy fire as its sort of a optical illusion that would help as camouflage.

Is it just me or does his traps and head look more, how do I describe this, like a silverback gorilla compared to his previous releases?

Or is it just the angle of the picture?

The cowl looks mean as hell. A beautiful light up base. Good looking wired cape.

Is the suit under the same material as the JL batman or is it more Scarlet Spider?

Love Batfleck, but this outfit is awful. The figure looks like a damn Mezco. All squat, fat and not very poseable.

Come to think of it, all the outfits in the Flash movie look awful besides the main Flash.

People can hate on BvS as much as they like, but the costumes for the Trinity are the absolute best put on screen.

I can only deduce that in the movie Barry uses the Speed Force and changes the past such that Austin Powers' Fat Bastard is now Batman lol. Even if you strip away all of the strap-on armor that's still one chunky Caped Crusader. Maybe there's an in-movie explanation that justifies this look but regardless it's not one that I want on my shelf. Hopefully the bike can be purchased separately - I'll throw my Tactical Suit Batman on it and call it a day.
Yes, I have always been a bit puzzled by the design of this suit since I first saw a few “leaked” pics. The way the way the cape is situated with the cowl just looks so off to me, and yeah I think the strap-on armor could have been designed in a much cooler way. I will not be getting this Batfleck …I will stick with my BvS and Tactical Suit versions.

This bike on the other hand is a definite buy for me. I have loved the design and overall look of this bike since I first saw pics of it. I passed on that third party bike (locomotive) that came out a while back. I thought it looked really nice but I was concerned about it’s durability, so I hoped that Hot Toys would eventually come out with one and here it is!!

I was tempted to by a Bat-pod but held out in hopes of this. The Bat-pod is cool looking, but something about this bike design seems more muscular and aggressive

i got in this thread expecting a lot of positive reactions to this because I think its pretty cool but it seems overwhelmingly negative. I dont really like Affleck so the likeness is fine to me. Im also relieved he is not built like a bodybuilder while being a bit more realistically proportioned.

Dont know about the bike though. it reminds me a lot of reys speeder. Big and bulky upfront. If its usb powered that would help but I'll put it this way, the tumbler didnt sell well at even $450 so I expect this batcycle to be discounted a year after release.
