The image of collectors everywhere doing this for 40min, cracks me up.:lol
Though the results look good.

Also he seems pretty sure that out of the box shine will fade on its own anyway.

The shine probably wont fade, it seems to be a satin paint, it will however rub off in spots where its handled and show the charcoal colored rubber below. At some point everyone is most likely going to have to fully remove this paint job to make it look mostly uniform.

Talk about an 'arse about face' release. A scaled down cowl from the 1/4 version on top of the old Toy fairs exclusive suit would have made a very nice looking and improved Begins Bats...
Instead they scale down the horrible shiny suit from the 1/4 version and reuse the awful looking giraffe neck cowl.
Someone at HT should be sacked for letting this pass production, but it's comedy gold :ROFLMAO:

40 minutes? Um...had to take longer than that. The end result looked decent but....dang! That's a lot of work to do on an expensive figure.
I just can't see the "tape method" getting all of the sheen off...and isn't the figure a little gummy or sticky afterwards?

I honestly could live with the shine if they gave us a new cowl and mouthplates. That's the main thing that makes this thing look derpy.

I’m gonna polish my next copy like I did the new Mando and see if we can take this thing to maximum gloss!

I think the N52 Justice League suit was supposed to be like this though. This isn’t the first collectible to make it metallic looking

Batman never read shiny silver to me, That's to bad.
It's not a bad comic look otherwise, just to shiny!

Does anyone have recommendations on re-gluing the frontal rubber flap that connects the upper torso between the legs? I have the TF MS155 version but posting here since it is more active. I have used Loctite Ultra Liquid Control in the past but checking if something else is better.
