That's even more savage than that time on Mustafar when Obi-Wan cut out about 1/3 of Anakin. :lightsabe

But that deprives us of a Disney-specialized Hi-Octane foot-chase on a par with the Vespa/Landspeeder chase from BOBF....
I hope that BOBF Season 2 pays homage to the movie Speed by having a bomb on Drash's Vespa set to explode if she goes slower than 5 mph. "Get out of the way, get out of the way!" (Tatooine residents casually gather their things and step out of her way, lol)

I don't feel like googling the George Costanza chase, so if you all could imagine that I did and put in the clip, that would be terrific.

What gets me most about that scene is that Leia looks like she had just learned how to run for the very first time that morning or something.

ObiWan got 6 measly episodes while Daredevil is getting 18 episodes :slap
If you put the two together, and split the difference the Chirrut Îmwe show should then get about 12 episodes?:geek:

Blinded as a child by a spilled crate of Kyber Crystals, Chirrut Imwe develops uncanny powers he can reach out and almost see with...

So was this better or worse than Book of Boba Fett? Discount the Mando episodes as those don't count.
Slightly better. It has a single good scene between Vader and Kenobi in the final episode. Just watch the last episode. The others aren't worth watching.
Whereas I'd have my memory wiped of the entire BoBF if I could.

Not without programming a directive never to rewatch it, surely, Else you could end up just reliving the horror all over again. :lol

Good call. Can you imagine the hellish loop otherwise. I think Dante described it in one of the circles of hell in the Divine Comedy. Somewhere between the 5th and 7th circles I believe.
"And then Virgil showed me the poor wretches of the 6th circle. Forced to rewatch the cursed Book of Boba Fett. Their poor flayed minds long broken."
Or perhaps a Greek tragedy.
Chained to a rock, eyelids forced open, watching BoBF on loop during the day, mind wiped by night to relive the horror the next day.
I think we've found an alternative to water boarding.

This was not better than BOBF. It manages to look even cheaper, it's poorly made and it wastes the talents of all the folks who were in the films. It has even more WTF moments and features new cast members who are either ill-prepared or badly directed or both.

It's right at the level of TROS. I'll never watch again.

I'll give Andor a go with low expectations, but I have a feeling I'm going to end up as done with SW as I am with Marvel. So sad and so insane that something that managed to go on so well for so many years ends up withering away in a vapid cloud of soulless agenda. RiP SW.

My opinion is it was WAYYYY better. “Kenobi” still has major pacing and character problems, but I walked away from BoBF feeling like it made the main character weaker, while I walked away from “Kenobi” feeling like it enhanced the original films. At the very least, “How Obi-Wan got his groove back” focused on the main character, while the best BoBF episodes were Mando episodes entirely.

Kenobi started off weaker, but ended stronger. Much stronger.

Whilst I personally disliked BoBF more, I can't disagree with any of your points.
A whole show about Boba Fett, by the people behind The Mandalorian. I was beyond hyped for that show. And extremely disappointed by what we got.
That was the last straw for me. Love and passion for Star Wars gone. Finished what the ST started.
Star Wars isn't special to me anymore. Now it's just another show. More content.
I don't look forward to a Star Wars show/movie anymore than I do the next season of Stranger Things. I'm more excited for the next episode of Better Call Saul than I am Andor or Ahsoka.
I think I disliked BoBF more than Kenobi, because by the time Kenobi was released, Star Wars was just another show. When Kenobi was bad, I just shrugged. No more disappointed by it than I was that later seasons of Westworld were bad.
Though I suppose it helped cement my feelings on current Star Wars.
I’ll probably give shows like Andor and Ahsoka a go but I doubt Star Wars will ever feel special again.
It's all just "content" now. Quantity over quality. A flood of stuff to go on D+.
