Hot Toys Disney+ Figures "The Mando" + "Cassian" + "Kenobi" + "The Book of Boba Fett"

I wonder which outfit Hot Toys will go for their Obi-Wan show figure ? It seemed Ep 4 was a slightly different look.

Or did he just take his outer robe off ?

I need to re-check. No idea what accessories they'd give him. Seems like it could be a pretty basic figure at this point. But still cool.

2. Kenobi with Jedi Robes or Beige Outfit
3. Grand Inquisitor
4. 3rd Sister
5. 5th Brother
6. 4th Sister

Waitaminute, now. What about those purge troopers? They were pretty hot.

And literally the only thing from this show I'd buy a HT version of, so far.

From the very brief few seconds we see them, they did look cool, but I'm not interested in them.

Even if a Kenobi figure sculpt is great, I'll always think about how disappointing this show was. TLJ Luke sculpt was great, but then I would be reminded how awful that movie was. This show will save me hundreds. Just watching to see how much worse it gets. And it keeps getting worse. Murphy's Law dictates a Kenobi figure will be phenomenal, and yet for me, unbuyable.

That figure is phenomenal. I still consider buying it despite myself.

The sculpt is so good, and immortalises Mark/Luke at this age in an as yet un-filmed EU.

In order of preference

1. Regular every day Stormtrooper as I don’t have one
2. Vader
3. Kenobi - I did like his look in the 4th episode so it depends on what his final “hero” look is and what goes on over the next 2 instalments
4. Purge Trooper - haven’t seen enough of them yet so hope they feature again

I’m trying to bulk up my OT imperial collection along side Mandalorians and a little from the PT like Jango and the 501st and I’m considering the odd ST figure as I fancy an evolution of the Stormtrooper line up.

Same. The boba show even tempered my enthusiasm for the mandalorian. That episode with the Jedi temple showed that mandalorian will plant the seeds and lead into the Disney trilogy. They said it was going to happen if I remember correctly.
These shows aren’t for me so I save a ton of cash.

Your evolution of the trooper display could consist of:

Old Republic Trooper (Scaletta had one up for PO recently), Sideshow AOTC red Clone Captain, HT ROTS Coruscant Guard/Shocktrooper, HT Battlefront Imperial Shock Trooper (TK), HT First Order Stormtrooper (painted red to make it captain cardinal) and HT Final Order Sith Stormtrooper.

Then have the HT Imperial Royal Guard and the HT First Order Praetorian Guard book-ending them

Yeah no way would I buy any figure from this show, and I even bought a Mando mustard trooper. If forced to choose one, I'd pick episode 1 Obi-Wan with table, knife, napkin and slice of meat accessories. Him cutting off a thin slice of dragon meat and folding it inside his napkin each day to steal and give to his eopie is easily the most interesting thing in the show so far.

So finally a Cad Bane on the way. Hot Toys are way behind the ball, but I guess Disney may have kept it secret from them, hence the delay.

Surely this won't be the case with Obi Wan Tatooine look. Should be interesting to see what versions are still to come.

I've heard there could be flashbacks, so that could give some interesting versions.....and explain the delay on the Clone Wars version for example.

Or they simply chose to make less for BoB due to the lack of acceptance from fans ? Kenobi doesn't seem to have that big of a selection for figures. But I guess Kenobi, Reve, Vader, Purge Trooper and I'd love that big loader droid.

Yep seems like it. Guess we could have seen it coming considering no one would have bought that first iteration. Need to use that expensive tooling for something.

I still have hope we'll see Cad Bane either Thursday or Friday. Normally only a few days between tease and release the last few times they've done a tease pic like that.

While I still liked the episode, I've gotta say these people living through full body lightsaber penetration is getting a bit too much.

That said I'd still get an Obi-Wan from this series. I did like the back and forth between the Obi-Wan / Anakin lesson though.

I'm not a writer but I can already think of some BS to fix that issue

It's crazy how much Disney gets by with fan theories for lazy crap they never care to be consistent about. Have they ever answered a single plothole they've caused yet?
