I'm in the same boat, so there's very little left for me. I desperately want something new but the creative team at Lucasfilm and Disney are just not that good.

Every now and then you get a Tank Trooper design... but then you get Gideon.

Rogue One remains the single Disney movie and the last, great SW movie as far as new designs -- just Krennic, K-2SO, Two-Tubes, Death Troopers and Tank Trooper alone... but there's so much more.
It was all there in the EU books/games/etc. to be adapted like Marvel adapts their comics. They even kicked the director Gareth Edwards out of his movie in post-production. You would think Gareth would get another SW shot....

I am surprised they didn't rethink their decision after the love RO got... but that would mean Kathleen was wrong, and that probably doesn't fly. Unless he really is just a fan/hack and it was the many people around him who came up with the good stuff... which is more likely I guess.

The Batman finished with $767 million at the box office.

Joker made over a billion without China.

Finally got the time to see it a second time on HBO. It was nice noticing details that I missed on the first viewing such as some visual clues that Batman picked up. I still like the movie overall and it's a good detective movie but Batman isn't painted as a great detective here. He's one step behind the Riddler all the time. As a matter of fact, I feel Riddler won this even if the new mayor survived and Batman stopped the Riddler goons. He solved the riddles but he would have never found out, if not for the unintended voicemail to Selina, who the rat really is and subsequently, what Riddler knew all along; the source of Gotham's corruption. He didn't even get to capture the Riddler. He forgot his goal was to go after him and only realized he ****** up when Falcone got shot. Also, the moment he looked out of the window and didn't see any trace of the Riddler, he just gave up. The MVP is officer Martinez. He did his job and asked around and got the info leading to where the Riddler is. He also provided the essential clue to the carpet tucker that led to Riddler's final plan. Batman didn't know jack **** at that time.

Like I said, it's a good movie overall but now I'm questioning if it's a good Batman movie.

It's a great Batman movie, from a Year 2 point of view.

The Snyderverse remains the standard for "DC Universe" movies.
The standard for dc movies? No sir. That hasn’t happened yet. The snyderverse could have been good but didn’t capture what made dc great imo. It had good ideas but fell absolutely flat.
