Don't forget the reissues. They clearly don't see delayed releases as a problem when they are taking time to reissue figures too.
I mean the thing is that reissues makes sense whether people like them or not. They’re already pre-existing or mostly pre-existing, and oftentimes they’re of figures that sell for high prices in the secondary market.

I only wish that reissues would release in a more timely manner as they exist in large part and just need to go back into production.

It doesn't make sense to be for reissues taking up space in the factory then also complain about how long they take to release product.

I suppose, but I understand why they do reissues. Regardless though they’ve got a problem with turnaround time for their products. It shouldn’t take a year or longer to release things.

Can't understand why TBA demands a 50% deposit for this droid. This freaking figure won't release for, at least, two years in Q1 2024. No way it releases Q3 2023. It's not normal to put down such a large amount of cash up-front with a price tag like this item. Or any item for that matter.

Where are you shopping (in HK, NOT TW), fellow freaks?

Though i still PO from TBA from time to time, i shifted to KG Hobby for most of my orders when they started asking 50% deposit. KG are very reliable though communication is not one of their forte. Also to be noted, KG Hobby are more than likely to receive their stock even later than TBA "late batch". As an example, i just got charged for my Shoretrooper last week.

Shots fired: this release is sort of as disappointing as much of the actual show was.

Altho real talk, I'd much rather have seen a lot more of murder-droids stalking the landscape on Mandalore than I would have of Skittles Vespas.

It could be worse, because I was honestly thinking this release was gonna be that Vespa girl and her Skittlesmobile.

Gratz to those of you who missed the Rogue One version of this and were still wanting it. I think I'll pass.

I think the biggest problem with Hot Toys is they just have way too much going on. It probably gets their production line congested and things are held up forever, and then stuff they may want to make is announced later because they’re trying to work the backlog of unreleased figures.
Then they either need to expand or become more focused.

As I don't have K2, this is actually tempting. He'd go great with my troopers.
Personally I'm not fussed about the characters from BoBF. I'm still bitter and disappointed with that show. An Imperial Terminator like droid though, that could fit into an Imperial trooper collection and not specifically represent BoBF, is more tempting.

I’ve thought they should expand for a long time honestly, but then I don’t know their business obviously and how easy that would be. Clearly though they stack their plate with too much.
They need to focus on the main characters before they focus on things that have 5 seconds of screen time like these droids, Blurrgs, Death Watch Mandos, etc.

We got this before we even got Boba from his own show (1/4 doesn't count).

I'm still likely gonna get this, but it doesn't change the fact that there are more characters that should have come first.

It's a weird choice. Their next BoBF figure is a droid we see for barely 5 seconds, that's better known for appearing in Rogue One. When we already have a Rogue One show, Andor, on the way. When collectors have been asking for BK, Bane and Vanth. When they even showed a prototype Vanth months ago.
Who could have predicted they'd do this?
In a weird way, it's nice that HT can surprise me...
My first reaction genuinely was to laugh when I saw this announcement.

Same here, I’ve ordered most of my collection from KG. No issues whatsoever. Been tempted to switch to TBA since he mostly offers better prices and shipping.

But when TBA’s charging 50% deposits, my temptation drop significantly.
