Unfortunately, finally took mine out of the box today for the first time, and the right leg is somehow much lower then the left. *sigh* Just emailed SSC, requesting an exchange. Tried pushing the right leg up, but there is no movable area for the leg to go up.

I can't understand why the feet are not the same size. don't they make it with the mould?

I’m so happy to have a batgirl in my collection. I totally dig the design but something I can’t quite put my finger on puts me off about the figure maybe the legs dunno…

Aside from the badly botched hip joints and rubber diapers, I believe it is a number of small things. The proportions of the various body parts are skewed, long shins, long forearms, small thin head....small issues here and there add up to the figure just not looking quite right. Its a shame, so close to an excellent figure. I was going to give mine away but found a pose that looks good to me.

I thought this looked awful in pictures…so bad, in fact, that in spite of my love for all things Batman I knew I would have to skip this release, but I hoped that somehow I was wrong about it…unfortunately a trip to one of my local comic stores yesterday confirmed my worst assumptions…this figure is TERRIBLE…how could a company like Hot Toys allow that pelvis and those legs to leave their factory???

Got a response from SSC saying they will not offer an exchange, only a refund. They believe this is “comparable” to other copies they have on hand and cannot offer any improvement. I have emailed them back and requesting an exchange, but they have not responded since Monday. I guess I just have to request for a refund and then buy it again…*sigh* I didn’t feel good about their response at all, but I just have to live with that. I don’t feel like calling them or talk to them, either.

Update: SSC just sent me a return label! Wow! Here’s to hope!

Yeah I don't know why any company would only offer refund on an in-stock product. The person could just order it again, seems like a hassle on both sides.

That was precisely my argument as well in my response to SSC. I am glad that someone over there has come to their senses. I just dropped off the return, so I hope the replacement Batgirl shows up late next week.

Did they mention anything about a restocking fee? They did that to me one time on a return.

No, they did not. This is the first and only time where SSC replace my entire figure (whole box). All the other times they sent me replacement body parts (once they sent just an entire body of a figure in an empty box, go figure?). No, they never charge me a restocking fee. Maybe ‘cos I have already opened it?

An exchange or a replacement part is different from a straight up return. They charged me a restocking fee when I returned my Delorean V1. Perhaps because it cost so much but still if you get the whole thing back why do I need to pay a fee if I return it?
Wasn’t sure about your situation specifically especially since it’s just a figure and not a giant vehicle with crazy shipping costs.
