What on earth are they thinking with this mouth piece? I assumed this was a jye photoshop of some kind but it's not, it's real!!! :slap

This is an insulting release.

I would almost bet Sideshow prices will be more along the lines of:

Batman- $270

Tumbler- $620 or maybe even $630

Wow wtf is with those mouth pieces?? Only 1 of them is actually usable while the 2nd and 3rd look like he?s constipated

I missed out on the Tumbler the first time around and so I feel like I don't have a choice about whether or not I pick it up now. But, ****, I have no idea where I will put it.

He doesn't even come with his grappling gun lol This release is as barebones as it gets.

Are the mouthpieces of the other Bale Batman figures (like TDKR) compatible with Batman Begins?

Hot Toys Batman & Batmobile - Batman Begins

Pop Collectibles

Batman:
$261 USD

Batmobile:
$608 USD

What was the original price for the Tumbler?

$600 for the Tumbler is actually cheaper than I thought it would be. Hot Toys figures were around $200 when I started and $250 seems to be the new norm now for basic figures.

I thought the Tumbler was going to be much higher considering i paid around around the same when preordering the Delorean and Batmobile 89 - and that was 7-8 years ago?

Then again, the Tumbler is a re-issue so no additional R&D involved for Hot Toys. And the Tumbler seems less intricate then say Ecto-1 - although I always felt Blitzway overpriced that vehicle for $1,400. Maybe that had more to do with economies of scale, not enough of a demand to cut down the cost of producing a low volume.

Wow this is pretty sad to see. I'm hoping it will be a new suit and body in release. I'm going to get it because I never got any of the Nolan Batman figure prior. So this and DKR Batman are Preordered for me, all I hope for now is a New Joker and Bane and That's the magic word hot toys NEW. Lol

They couldn't even give us new mouthplates or cowl. The cape is also the unusable ****ty poofy one. Literally the same parts as the 2011 toy fair. We're talking about a 10 year old release here. All they did is take away accessories and give us a reused DX19 Wayne sculpt and new paint job.

The batmobile is even worse, completely the same, they couldn't even paint the rims black the third time around.

None of this matters though, because HT knows people will still buy it.

Definitely lazy release from HT, but I will not pass on this as I love the BB suit and want one in the collection, I just wish they would've shrunk down the 1/4 scale in this case.

It's 2cm taller so it must be a new body.

Overall a very forgettable release from HT. The cowl looks too tall, two of the mouth plates are so awful as to be unusable and once again the cape is garbage. No way that can come over his shoulders the way a Begins cape should.

As for the lack of a grapple gun, utterly bewildering.

Will I get it? Probably. ?185 from Toys Wonderland is much cheaper than the original figure would cost me on eBay. A custom cape and cowl and he'll look great on the shelf.

I don't care about the figure but the tumbler is pretty sweet. I just don't have the room for it. It's hard when it takes up space width wise and not height wise.
