The finale was OK, good action, but I was a bit put off by

Sabine getting Force powers. Would have been much better if she didn't.

I also found that first scene in the fortress where they were just standing there deflecting blaster fire as odd. They were just standing there, twirling their sabers.

I really enjoyed episode 8. I think some might feel disappointed, but I was moved by the progression in Ahsoka and Sabine’s relationship. We need at least one more season before Filoni’s big Mandoverse film.

OK, Baylan’s quest aside that was a pretty satisfying finale.

I like that they had Huyang give Ezra (& us) the 411 on why Ahsoka and Sabine had a falling out during her first go at Jedi apprenticeship (and also that it was done in an efficient manner). I was tempted to do the eye roll over Sabine’s sudden Force mastery but I think she was fueled by first Ahsoka’s and then Ezra’s faith in her coming through when she was needed. Ahsoka’s telling her to help open the fortress door like there was no question she could just worked for me. Sabine’s getting Ezra on that ship so he could finally go home was also satisfying and helped her atone for her earlier selfishness, especially when she chose the difficult path and went back to help her master.
I think Thrawn's use of the Nightsister's magic first and foremost to stall Ahsoka & company pretty much confirms my suspicion that his forces were not as great as it appeared. Giving Morgan Elsbeth the Savage Opress treatment wasn’t too surprising but I didn’t expect her to be left behind & ultimately die. But it demonstrated Thrawn’s cold, detached methods so I was good with it - plus she got to wield a neat magical sword lol.
I expected Shin to be shortchanged In this finale but I was hoping for an answer (or at least a better clue) to Baylan’s quest rather than more questions. Understandable given the timing of RS’s death but even if he hadn’t died it would have been disappointing. Where both of these characters go from here will be interesting.

Did what it had to from a plot perspective. I would have preferred some more pieces to the puzzle of both Baylan and Shin but they are set up (hopefully) for the kind of really intricate arcs going forward that I want them to have. I do feel Thrawn needed a bigger win, this was again just 'okay we're just gonna stall for time' and I think that's a little weak. The Sabine moment is just okay. I don't mind her having force sensitivity, but I do mind how it played, and the fact that she just immediately can now push Ezra for example. Overall positive feelings on the show, but 4-6 really carried it. Hoping Season 2 follows those episodes in allowing for character depth.

While there’s definitely room for the wandering bounty Hunter adventures of the Mando and the spy thriller of Andor; this Ahsoka series is the groundwork of the epic space fantasy story that Star Wars has been missing since Disney took over.

It isn’t perfect. Star Wars has always been rough around the edges since the OT. Filoni is a little heavy handed at cribbing from other stories. I have had my fill of Ahsoka the White since the first scene with that costume. But this has all the necessary elements and is likely the best possible space fantasy story we can get out of this generation of creators at Lucasfilm. And it was fun.

I feel like this entire show could've worked better summed up into 3 episodes. Im very underwhelmed. The only interesting part to me includes a man that is no longer with us, bummer.

Yeah I think that must have been Rosario's stunt double doing most of the fighting against Morgan, because the speed and finesse got turned up to 11 compared to what we saw from her earlier in the series. And that whole fight was just fierce as hell.

And loved seeing Sabine going with the lightsaber/blaster combo at the end as well.

After this finale my most wanted figs are narrowed down to Artisan Sith Ani and Thrawn...and that's it.

But it is hilarious to think Death Troopers are actually kinda useful for once when they are...dead, technically.

In Mando Season 2 Morgan had already demonstrated her ability to go toe-to-toe with Ahsoka so why the eye roll now, especially after the Nightsisters imbued her with the Gift Of Shadows and gave her the Blade of Talzin?
