This is most excellent. And frankly, long overdue for the both the franchise and the fans. I am so stoked to see this! So glad to hear that the lead gives a great performance in this. I never heard of her prior.

Would like to however would prefer to hear peoples views on the dub first. A slightly off dub can wreck the experience. Might go English first then watch the dub later on the Friday night.

Plan to watch it back to back, the first time in English and the second in Comanche. The only thing that worries me is whether the actual English and French speaking parts are also dubbed in Comanche. The perfect balance is everyone speaking in their own native languages, that’s the version I want to see.

I wonder what Critical Drinker will say. He's been pretty cynical about it. So have I to be fair. Just so accustomed to these classic franchises being dragged through the mud. If one comes along that's good (especially if it's canon-worthy) it's a shock.

I can see why Drinker was so cynical. There are certain trends and overused tropes in Hollywood these days.
When the initial blurb we got was something about "a young girl breaking gender norms to become a hunter" people will have a reaction to that.
I have been very sceptical about this. To be fair, I've always said I'll give it a fair chance and watch it but it really needs to be well executed.
Reviews suggest it is. I'm looking forward to watching it at the weekend.
If Drinker genuinely dislikes it after watching, then fair enough to critique it.
Hopefully he'll have the integrity to praise it, if it's genuinely good amd admit he was wrong.
Though I do understand why he was cynical.

I imagine it will be released the same time as previous content (Star Wars/ Marvel series). New releases usually go live at 08:00 GMT. We're in BST now so not sure when it will be up.
