I did meet him a couple of hears ago, did an event here in the UK. He was very pleasant indeed, had lots of time for people. He seemed happy to being the UK and we chatted in Spanish for a while.

Met Tom Savini last night, and afterwards had a small short panel where he talked about Machete Kills, and said it will NOT be a social commentary movie about border petrol.

I thought it was about immigration... not the oil industry...

It's pretty obvious on the trailer that this one is just more fun without any politics involved...
Osiris' dead was cut from the original movie because Rodriguez wanted him back for a sequel to be Machete's enemy, but from what I've seen in the previews, seems like he will actually be helping Machete... which is weird since he killed Padre in the first one.

In any case, I got a pass for a preview screening on Wednesday!! !!

Saw it tonight at a preview screening...I am biased obviously, so, let me tell you... if you liked the first one, you are going to love this one!
It's crazy, hilarious and over the top! As it should be!!
Delivers on everything it promises!

Doh.....I got a free screening pass for the screening yesterday....ah well. Totally never saw it.

Probably a good thing because my dad wanted to hang out, and we did. We wouldn't have if we saw Machete Kills. I'll try and go tonight, if anything.
