Others have said it, it sounds like a CW tv series....the writing, the lines, the acting delivery.
It sounds very much like a YA novel......
They try to tie in a Spiderman type character, and not use Spiderman, I assume becaue Disney would get more profits.....
It sounds so stupid. My mom researching in jungle Spiders and get bitten by Spiders, some sort of Black Magic Spider Girl Female Magic(I cannot believe I typed that) or something along those lines....
And you see a group of females gathering to solve a mystery of how and why they are meant to be at this exact spot and meant to meet and why they got powers. Sounds like literal girl power where everyhting they do will equate to no accountability becasue time travel.
Make a mistakes, go back in time and fix it...except what is meant to be like her mom dying or dad dying or whatever hokey modern agenda is needed to be pushed.
It's like Sex in the City meets Sisterhood of the traveling pants.
These things WILL NOT work with in a movie form and literally sounds like a bad CW tv series plot.
